“The Go Card was the BEST deal for our family trip to San Francisco! We only had a day, so we chose the Explorer Choose 3 Pass. With all the options available, we were VERY pleased to have been able to have public transit ALL DAY, take a Cruise Tour of the entire Bay Area, and stop in at the Aquarium for a delightful look at the sea life. I would recommend the Explorer Pass for ANYONE visiting the Bay Area!”

“My 5 year old and I were visiting the city for a day, and we happened upon this tour getting ready to leave. The tour was booked full, but there was room for us on the ext tour only 2 hours later. The price for the tour ($50 adult and $30 child) was a little steep, but probably within the notmal range for a "tourist trap" sort of activity. In the end, though, it seemed a pretty good deal considering the uniqueness of the experience. We saw plenty of tour buses and double-deckers, but we were in the only open-cab fire engine on the road! The tour was pretty standard, taking a well-traveled route across the Golden Gate Bridge and back, but all the major sights in that end of town were included. The sing-along tunes with the tour guide were a little corny, but it got my son involved and smiling, so no complaints from me! The only minor complaints I have are that given the nature of the vehicle, I thought a little more fire-centric tour would have been nice (like just driving a slightly different route to pass by some more historic fire stations and/or including more historical facts about the SFFD). Also, souvenir goodies were very limited (of about a dozen options for souvenirs, they only had adult XL shirts and one kid's shirt in stock).”

“Steve Kulin is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He went out of his way constantly to help us save money on our business class airfare from LA to Amsterdam, we have relatives in Amsterdam, so we fly about 5 times a year.. His response time is very fast.”

“This attraction is tucked away behind the Cliff House at Lands End. You won’t find it unless you’re looking. It is worth spending $3 on the admission fee to see the spectacular projection inside. The person manning the ticket counter also gives an explanation of how the mechanism works and is happy to answer any questions. I heartily recommend this one.”

“Wow!It was wonderful!!! I watched the waves. They were magnificent. The safety signs are VERY helpful in keeping one from getting too close when the waves are too high. Amazing experience.”

“Looking for a reliable, well-run sailing tour company to take a group out to sail around the San Francisco Bay? The San Francisco Sailing Company is it. I have used this company two years in a row for a private charter excursion. Both times my party had a great time, with some attendees of the first year wanting to sail again this year. The largest sailboat, Santa Maria, has a capacity of 36 passengers with a captain and a first mate. With a $50/pp ticket, you get two drinks (beer, soda, or bottled water) served during the 90 minute Sail (start from Pier 39, sail towards the GG Bridge, see the Marin Headlands /Sausalito from a distance, Alcatraz, Angel Island, and the SF skyline). Very relaxing. The 90 minutes goes by very quickly. Both office staff and the sail crew are easy to work with, efficient, responsive. I highly recommend in a heartbeat using this company if you are looking to sail. They are also willing to custom tailor a sail tour if you are planning to have a private charter and will sail any of the 7 days in a week.”

“It's a small place, which won't take longer than half an hour to visit, but it has some good displays about the wildlife and ecosystem of the Farallones, and a small aquarium of local fish. Seems well suited to families with young children.”

“Yesterday, my friends and I had a wonderful time on the bay with Captain John and and his beautiful sailing vessel "Temptation." Being on the bay was refreshing and time of ease that touched our very hearts. It was a joy to watch Captain John sail. His skill was evident and his personal touch was a great addition to the already beautiful scenery. Everything, from the time that we parked to the time that we departed was without incident and was carefree. I especially enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes work of his wife who, as you realize, makes everything happen. I don't believe that one would be disappointed in this marvelous experience. I know that I will return for another day and experience.”

“Wonderful all-day boat trip to the Farallon Islands! We saw many humpback whales and 2 blue whales, plus various birds and seals. The guides provided good commentary and information as we went along, helping everyone see as many animals as we could. The captain was adept at spotting whales and following them for a short while at a time. Amazing close-up whale sightings, we loved it.”

“Beautiful vantage point of the bridge and overlooking the biking and hiking trails that weave underneath and over top the bridge. Make sure you bring warmer clothes as the temperatures and weather change drastically from San Francisco proper.”

“Great way to see a big part of the city without working to hard to do so. The guide was also our driver and he spoke very eloquently about San Francisco, he was friendly and knowledgeable. Although the tour was not as long as we were hoping it was fun. We also were able to catch the shuttle to and from the departure site which was perfect enabling us to enjoy the day without having to find transportation.”

“I joined Daniel for the Muir wood bike and hike. It was one of the best tour that I have ever been on and covered a lot of the highlights in the Bay Area. Daniel is very knowledgeable on the history of the city so I learned a lot. The biking was really fun and got to see a lot of the hidden routes that I didn’t know existed. The hike was challenging after the bike ride but was very rewarding. I got a lot of great photos and memory from this tour. Highly recommend this excursion for anyone who is interested in knowing all the secret photo spots as well as and fun and challenging workout.”

“We took the evening tour on the blue and gold fleet on a chilly day and were so very happy that we did! While we didn't see any wildlife in the bay itself, but we got to see the seals at the warf! The sunset was absolutely phenomenal and the captain did a wonderful job placing the boat in the locations around the bay area for the best views! We got nice and close to Alcatraz as well! Everyone was very nice and the recorded tour was informative and educational, if a bit dry.”

“I really liked the cruise. There are lots of things to do such as dancing, karaoke, game shows, comedy show and they have theater with wonderful performers. They also have casino, bingo, live band and so on.. The food was phenomenal from fine dining to buffet and cafeteria.. The swimming pool and hut tubs are my favorite place to enjoy the ocean view.”

“I took the night tour with my husband . It was a great experience. Our tour guide Blake was one of the best tour guides we've ever had. It was very enjoyable. He gave us team names based on where we came from. We were on the bus with a family of 14 from Scotland and Sandy Lake. He sang to the people on the side walk and made jokes. It was wonderful. I very much guarantee if your taking the bus with Blake, you will have a great time. Highly recommend it.”
