“Eight of us had dinner and we all enjoyed our meal. The diversity of the menu was very good with a broad enough selection to meet most diner’s needs. We found the presentation to be the best sushi serving aesthetic we have had frankly the food was as good to look at as it was to eat. While the service was not fast the speed was acceptable. Our group had two areas which they could work on: 1) the staff was a little clueless on what to serve young children, this of course will be an easy fix when they study the options. 2) the order taking and food delivery was a little bit disorganized. Both of these issues are minor and I would recommend this as the best Japanese food on the coast. We paid $56 per person but nobody ever said sushi is cheap.”

“I don't even know how long we have been going to this establishment - 10 - 20 years? My husband drops his business shirts off here on a regular basis. I have a few random items dry cleaned and have had some items hemmed or sewed- they are so reliable and have quality and friendly service. Some of my husband's shirts have had broken buttons and they are always willing to fix them for free.”

“My favorite massage place in Half Moon Bay! Tony, the owner, has been a masseuse for almost 20 years and is truly a healer. He can sense where it hurts without even needing to tell him. I come out feeling rejuvenated and relaxed every time, and any pain or discomfort I had is gone. The price is reasonable for the quality of services! The staff is very good too.”

“I buy all my pet supplies at Kibbles and Gifts. The staff is helpful, knolwledgeable, and friendly. They have a wide variety of pet supplies. There is even a point system for earning a free bag of dog food. When you have a 90 pound pup, who eats a lot, this sure comes in handy. So happy to have a local pet store here on the coast!”

“We love coming to the Beach House in Half Moon Bay. This was our second stay and will definitely return. The location is hard to beat within walking distance of great restaurants the coastline beaches and water/biking activities. We had a great view from our third story penthouse room of the marina and the ocean. We really like the in-room fireplace that adds a nice ambiance to the stay. The grounds staff was helpful in finding a spot I could charge my Tesla while we were parked. The continental breakfast is nice and we enjoyed the wine and cheese spread on Friday night. The hot tub is huge and there are nice views from the pool/spa area. The rooms are nice and the bed is definitely comfortable. Some of the furnishings are bit worn and I think there is some updating that could be done to the rooms to make them a bit more modern and stylish but that is a minor concern. We look forward to a return visit to the Beach House in HMB in the near future!”

“My husband and I went to a beautiful, fun horse riding experience for the first time in a long time. This was such an amazing time! The ranch is cute, the staff were all very nice and friendly and the horses were adorable and so kind to us. We started off riding away from the ranch in beautiful paths and ended up taking the down-ramp to the beach, where we rode on the shore line. This experience was so much fun and we will definitely come back again! Thank you for making this experience so fun!”

“Parking is free, but the lot is small so get there early. Nice path leading around the point to the jetty and the open ocean. The beach juts against cliffs, so check the tide calendar before you go. Go at low tide and check out the great tide pools. Leashed dogs allowed, but people generally ignore the rule.”
