“Lovely Italian restaurant! It was busier than usual from my friend's perspective, but we still had a great dining experience. Service was slower because every seat in the house was taken, we were offered a second bottle of champagne on the house as well as any dessert selection on the house because of our wait. That's excellent customer service! The food was perfection and presented beautifully. Will definitely return.”

“This is a classic example of what happens when an owner takes his craft very seriously. Pizza has been done by countless people for hundreds of years and it tends to trend in the wrong direction. Cheaper, faster, and low quality. That's not how this man does pie. He took the time to find a real New Yorker, who knows the pizza game inside and out, flew him out and sat with him for a few weeks, to learn how to do everything from scratch. Fresh mozzarella, made in house. Absolutely beautiful idea and execution is exceptional and delicious. The whey that's left from making the cheese is turned into house made butter. He makes his own butter! I tried a scoop today and it's stunning. Very creamy, nice mouth feel, and perfectly salted with sea salt. The brick oven gets so hot during the day, that he can roast tomatoes in it overnight. Roasting like this reducers the acidity significantly and gives the tomato sauce that fresh, tangy tomato flavor that we allove so much! If you get a chance to come down here, do it. Do it tomorrow and then again the next day. Bring the baseball team or the soccer team and eat as many pizzas as you can handle. Supporting a locally owned business gets you points when you get to heaven. It also makes me feel good to know I can support this man and his passion. One pie at a time.”

“We have ordered just about every beef noodle soup in the Bay Area and the noodle shop’s is our favorite out of all of them. It’s one of the cheapest, yet they are more generous with the amount of beef + the quality of the soup is superior. The noodles are thick, fat and chewy. We ordered over the phone and the food was prepared quickly and packed well, along with a complimentary cup of red bean soup. The people there were lovely. I will be back soon to try their other dishes!”

“I've been coming to Fortune Star for 20+ years! The menus changed slightly over time, but its still owned by the kindest, most down to earth family I've had the pleasure of knowing my entire life! They serve delicious, authentic, Chinese food! Their Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings are out of this world. Their hot & sour soup always warms the soul! But my go-to is the Veg Chow Fun & Chicken with String Beans. If you're looking for your new favorite Chinese food restaurant, look no further!!!”
