“I appreciate that along with the remodel of the Nordic Museum they put importance on including a quality café to bolster the museum experience. Unfortunately, while Nordic immigrants have a deep history in Seattle, places that serve Nordic foods are few and far between. Freya is a nice addition to Nordic food in the area. They have a small selection of dishes but they are good representation of some of the foods popular in the Nordic countries. I ordered one of the Danish dogs which is their take on a Danish hot dog. I’ve been to Copenhagen and Danish hot dogs are delicious especially with the remoulade and fried onions. Freya Café’s version I believe uses PNW ingredients and combines it nicely with the Danish concept. The Uli’s sausage was tasty and the curry mayo sauce added mellow spice. The pretzel bun rounded out the flavors nicely as well. As a side note, the older gentleman who brought the food out seemed very kind and personable as well. Freya Café is definitely a place I would just visit even if I wasn't going to the museum.”

“Could not ask for a better place or better artists. This place, Jason and Santos are just amazing! All around great experience. Myself and my daughter have gotten multiple tattoos from these wonderful guys, and in October my son will get his first tattoo from here for his 18th birthday. “Decided to stop by while we were passing through the Daly City and we're very happy that we did. We ordered the three-piece combo which included a thigh, breast, and a leg along with coleslaw and one side as well as a waffle. We chose the mac and cheese and also ordered cornbread. Everything was delicious and well worth it. The fried chicken was very juicy and crispy and definitely reminded me of home-cooked fried chicken. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy with all the phone orders and online orders and people waiting outside. it did take about 5 to 10 minutes before we got our orders down because of this.”

“It was my pleasure to use First Light homecare as a caregiver during January and part of February. My caregiver, Shannon, was a delight. Their brochure describes the services they provide, & she did them all. After a few days, she knew what & when to do most everything, including what I liked for lunch. Should I need a caregiver in the future, First Light will be the company I call. They offer a complimentary consultation. Plus, the first day the caregiver arrives, one of their management personnel also arrives to introduce the parties. Great service.”

I always get a smile from them all the time.?? Accept when it was COVID-19; when they were closed; I was a regular customer!? My favorite dish is their Corn Beef & Cabbage and Potato and veggie dish. So plentiful and delicious! Gunther’s reopened recently on Wednesday for inside dining. Their burgers and steaks fries are the best! “I bought Ray-Ban sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut on the first floor of Macy’s and it was the easiest experience thanks to Justin and Israel. Justin was so helpful and patient while I tried on a ton of glasses and chose my pair and, weeks later, Israel also helped adjust the glasses after I accidentally squished them and they became crooked.
