“Our room was on the first floor over looking the Ocean. We slept with our patio door open and it sounded like we were asleep on the beach. Happy hour includes white or red wine and an assortment of cheeses, crackers and veggies. Very good!! We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. You can eat in the main room or have it delivered to your room. We were shocked that there’s no air conditioning or storage in the room. I’m sure if you are only staying a day or two it’s fine but we stayed 7 nights. They do provide a closet to hang your clothes so we bought hangers so we wouldn’t have to live out of our suitcases. As far as the air conditioner, it wasn’t bad with the patio left open because it dropped down in the 50’s at night and the high was 68 or so in the afternoon. The sound of the waves and the views from our room was worth it. The October weather is beautiful here!”

“This restaurant has a great, warm, family atmosphere. The menu also tells you more about the building's history during prohibition which lends to the warm feeling of the place. We went for dinner and there was a piano player who plays fairly regularly. He plays classical, rock music, pop music, everything (Bohemian Rhapsody was played at some point). Seafood chowder is good. The entrees were standard seafront restaurant fare, hearty and good. Not hipster/ or that adventurous, but I think that's a good thing here.”

“I'm from out of town so this is my first time visiting this place. First impression is great. I like the glass roof and the store set up - feels like an outdoor shopping but inside the mall. The store selection are very limited. It's only a handful. Mostly I like the store set up but I don't have any particular store I want to go in except the Salty Taffy store maybe. Ample of parking space. The Oceano hotel and spa can be accessed inside the mall as well. Good a quick visit to check out the store set up but I don't really have anything particular to visit. It's a neat set up.”

“Parking is free, but the lot is small so get there early. Nice path leading around the point to the jetty and the open ocean. The beach juts against cliffs, so check the tide calendar before you go. Go at low tide and check out the great tide pools. Leashed dogs allowed, but people generally ignore the rule.”

“This place is amazing!!! The combo of Peruvian and Mexican food (plus pizza) all great quality and delicious made us to return a week exactly after our first stop. We brought 10 people for my mother's birthday and everyone left so happy and satisfied. About this place, I don't know what's better if the quality of food or their customer service...they're amazing! Definitely we will be back (worth the drive from Redwood City)”
