Amazing place any open spacer reserve will almost always get 5stars from me

Fantastic place to see whole fields full of wildflowers, plus a federally endangered butterfly (Bay Checkerspot). Only open on select dates to the public for now but the docents there are great. Not a place for pushchairs as the ground is very uneven, steep in places and narrow.

This preserve includes extremely sensitive habitat for the last population of the critically endangered Bay checkerspot butterfly. To protect this species from extinction, access to the preserve is permitted only with an Open Space Authority docent.
