  Excellent customer service from the property manager Nicole! She was knowledgeable and helped me figure out the correct size unit to fit my needs. She got me the best price and promotion available. I found her to be extremely professional and accommodating to my schedule. If you're looking for a storage unit, I would highly recommend this location.

  Let me start by saying that this is my first ever review. There has been others in the past that I meant to write, but failed to. But this is one I had to make sure to write just because of the AWESOME customer service I received yesterday from Nicole (property manager) and Joseph Ortiz (district manager).
  On Thursday I went to my unit to get our luggage out because my wife and daughter are flying out of state on Wednesday for a wedding. I get there and did not have my key. Went home turned everything upside down for the next 24 hours and could not find it. I finally gave up and at 5:55 pm on Friday I called Nicole to see what could be done. Now keep in mind she was off at 6:00 pm so I thought I was screwed. She explained that the district manager, Joseph Ortiz, is the only one that is authorized to open units that don't have keys, but he usually doesn't work on weekends so it probably wouldn't happen till next week. I told her that I understood, after all it was Friday at 6:00 pm. But I did ask if there was any possibility it could happen on Monday so that my wife could comfortably pack on Tuesday and fly out on Wednesday. We really don't have much time. She offered a locksmith option that would cost $75.00 + the cost of a new lock $21.00. Needless to say I was not looking forward to paying $100.00 because I stupidly misplaced my key, plus we don't have a lot of money. We have 6 kids and live in the Bay Area!!! Enough said.
  Nicole said she would send Joseph a message explaining the situation but could not make any promises. She would call me in the morning and let me know. By this time it's now 6:10 pm, she was supposed to be off work 10 minutes ago. So the next morning Nicole calls me within the first hour of her opening the office and gives me the good news. Joseph said that he would stop by and do it today (Saturday) early afternoon. I couldn't believe it!!! I was truly shocked and grateful. You just don't get customer service like that anywhere anymore these days. For Nicole and Joseph to go out of their way for us like that is just crazy to me. I still cant believe it, and in the end all I had to do was pay for a new lock and say thank you.
  So Thank You Nicole, Thank You Joseph I wish I could give you 100 stars. Your service is greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work.

  If you need your things held for a while at a great price this is the location you want to be at. Great customer service from Nicole as well and always in a happy mood and helpful. It's convenient how early they open it's a plus!

  This facility is a great location. Nicole is always around the facility cleaning and making sure everything is locked and secure. I would rent from this location again.

  I have been a long time storage unit renter at the Public Storage location at 231 Capitol Expressway, San Jose, CA 95136.
  A few days ago, I needed to ask some questions at the rental office and met Nate. It was refreshing to have such a friendly, smiling
  and helpful person behind the desk. I would say that Nate provided excellent customer service and I would recommend Public Storage
  to friends and family based on my interaction with him.
