Not long after the Mid-Peninsula Open Space District was formed I lived in one of the handful of homes within the boundaries of the Fremont Older Estate. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

This is a wonderful open space preserve on the edge of one of the busiest, frantic business centers in the planet. Treat yourself to a weekend hike and explore the fantastic natural habitat we've carved out for the public to enjoy.

Not as big as some other parks. But offers a couple of lookout points and lots of interconnected hiking trails.
