(July 1, 2023, 1:58 am)The dosas here are just chef’s kiss. The sambar, potato curry and chutneys are delicious too. I personally love their Mysore masala it’s my go to order along with filter coffee. They also have a Sunday thali which is super delicious and def worth trying.

(June 23, 2023, 6:32 pm)We love coming to Komala Vilas. The food is great. Not too spicy so it’s perfect for us. We ordered a few items. Paneer dosa is great if you’re looking for a non-spicy option. It’s a low key restaurant with great food. We have been coming here for a while and I highly recommend it. Prices are reasonable too.
Their service is quick. We came for lunch on Friday and it was pretty crowded. The food came within 10 min or less. Very happy with the food quality and service.
(June 1, 2023, 1:38 am)I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and overall, I had a delightful experience. The food served was undeniably good and fresh, which greatly contributed to my overall satisfaction. While the sambar could have been better, the dosas truly stole the show.
The rava dosa I ordered was a delightful combination of crispiness and tastiness. The texture was just right, and the flavors were truly enjoyable.
Another dosa we tried was the ghee podi dosa.
One of the better aspects of this restaurant is the variety of chutneys they offer with their dosas. Each chutney was unique and full with flavor. It was an absolute delight to explore different combinations and enhance the taste of the dosas with these amazing chutneys.
While there were a few areas for improvement, such as the sambar, the overall experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend trying out this restaurant for a satisfying and flavorful meal.
(May 25, 2023, 6:00 pm)One of the best places for South Indian vegetarian food in the south bay area. The dosas are really good and crispy, Idlis are soft, the combos are always good and the filter coffee is great. There is generally a rush during lunch hours but finding a table is not hard. A very good place for comfort food and a high value for your buck. They also sell boxed snacks which are good.
