Great park.
Parking can be hard as the parking lot is very small but plenty of street parking. They have an in closed little kids park and a bigger kids park as well as a small water park. My kid loves everything about this park.
Picnic tables limited.
1 basketball hoop
1 tennis court
They also have a field and a dog park.
Overall we loved the park.
The park has unusual balance of play area of toddlers and grown up kids. Various activity areas are very well designed.
Great playground for all ages. They really built this one right. They have an enclosed toddler area with a sand pit and a big kid playground (boat themed) right next to it. They also have an amazing splash pad that resembles the small one they have at Great America. They have bathrooms and tons of benches. The best thing about this park is the shades over most of the play areas. A small basketball area and 1 tennis court are also on the grounds.
Wow, this park has it all! The park accommodates any type of family! You can even bring your dog to enjoy this park as there is a good sized dog park.
Ok, so there is an enclosed kids park for the 1-5 yr old kids which includes slides, swings, sand pit and an interactive wall with sensory type objects to play with. The enclosed park can be opened and closed by parents. Another great plus is the fact that the bathrooms are close by incase you had to use the bathroom quickly.
The second play area is for older kids 6-12 range. This area includes several rock like structures for climbing and several slides everywhere. A boat themed structure with cannon drums and flags and plenty of space for kids to run.
Another play area is for water play! Bring the kids trunks and bathing suits as they will get the chance to be soaked! Again the bathroom is steps away if they need to change.
Then to round things off they have a large 100+ yards of field to set up a volleyball net, play Frisbee or just throw the ball around. There is also a basketball court and two tennis courts!
There are also several bench areas you can set up a BBQ to accommodate a party.
Sadly there is a negative to this park and it's the parking. The parking is nonexistent! You would be lucky if you didn't need to use the street parking...but expect to park pretty far away and walk with your kids to the park area...if it wasn't for the bad parking situation, this park is a perfect 5 stars!
This park is not too big but filled with many fun obstacles to keep the little ones busy exploring. The floor is padded. The slides are not too high or steep. My autistic girl was able to do almost everything on her own. She's not the most coordinated one. We feel very safe here.
