“It's so beautiful here. There's miles of hiking and beautiful views. The one problem I had was that the benches were few and far between. It's very dog friendly. It gets really hot in the summer, so it's better to come in the morning. There is a lot of shade.”

“Rating a trail is tough. I favor going up this trail and down Priest Rock because the up is shaded and the down is sunshine, but not in your face. This is good for winter and even helps in summer”

“This is one of my favorite places to hike close to home. If you time it just right you can miss the crowds. It's scenic and serene, with a few horses sharing the trail. Make sure you have plenty of water and if you take your dog be prepared to carry your poop bags. There is only 1 trash bin at the gate.”

“Tough mountain bike trails for the more advanced. Not too much difficulty involved just massive mountain to climb. Jones trail seems the easiest but that too is a challenge. Great people that are very polite and willing to share the trail, so please do the same. Overall very fun and challenging experience”

“Great short trail very close to town and parking. Somewhat of a steep trail for either hiking or biking. Beautiful view from the top. It's nice to be within minutes of town and find yourself surrounded by nature.”

“Walked up to Lexington Reservoir to check out level as compared to 4 or 5 months ago. Looks great, really windy had to hang on to our hats. Spectacular view. A little muddy along trail but nothing we couldn't step over or walk around. Good outing.”

“Great for all ages! Toddler section is very baby friendly as well. Sandbox and rubber padded area are fairly well kept, although be aware the bark chip area in toddler area is a bit inconvenient (lower, toddlers fell several times due to much lower ground, bark chips get tracked elsewhere).”

“Nice trail with pretty nature but right next to highway 17 and its loud the whole time and lots of people around even when the weather is mediocre.”

“Note - from Mar 2019 a lot of trees down/storm damage on some parts of trail. Still open and hike able. This is a great point to start a variety of hikes from easy to fairly difficult. Only downside is how close it is to freeway so you get a lot of noise in this part of the trail. Once you go further in you can reach a few different trail options to take you away. Some ride bikes on the gravel part of trail on freeway side of the creek. The other side of the creek is for people & leashed pets only, has more tree cover, and is more like a forest trail. But either side of the creek will take you to other trails.”

“Great little park to bring the kids to. The field is huge and wide open. Great for kites or sports. There's also 2 separate playgrounds. One perhaps for older kids and one for the younger ones. It's a nice atmosphere in a friendly neighborhood. Great park for a picnic on a summers day.”

“Nice open area park. Quiet and safe. No equipment, but that's also kind of the point.”
