“Because of I’m not good at English, so I rarely write the reviews. But for United Plumbing, I have to do something. I replaced all my house’s sewer lines and water pipes because it’s too old and already leaking somewhere. Everyone that I deal with was very courteous and responsive. They knew I’m not good at English, they’re all text messages to me, this gave me great convenience and the confidence to continue the work. Tim, Tom, and the technicians whose names I don't even know are all professional and friendly, they even fixed my neighbor's faucet for free at lunchtime. “Walking into the lobby of the hotel, you get an older feel to the establishment. My wife said it reminded her of an old hotel in London - not unpleasant, but clearly a more dated style. The location is excellent, directly next to a variety of stores and immediate access to the highway. I found the staff very attentive and welcoming. Going up to our room was where we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms appear to be recently renovated and had some nice cabinetry in the bathroom. More importantly, the room and bathroom was incredibly spacious, almost on par with what I would consider a private suite. There is a nice large window to let in natural light from the courtyard, but a set of very dark blackout curtains are available for the late mornings, keeping the room pitch black. There really was no noise or disturbances to speak of, despite close proximity to the major road and highway, so I’m assuming the rooms are well insulated. No noises from other guests were noted either. Not sure if it’s a regular occurrence, but the hotel staff put out a COMPLIMENTARY huge welcome basket of snacks and drinks that lasted us well into our 3 day stay! In this economy?! A small but personal touch that we appreciated. Overall, the hotel is not necessarily cheap, but you definitely get a great experience. I would take this hotel over a traditional hotel chain any day, and look forward to staying again next time I’m in the area.”

“We purchased two screens from ClearView, one for the garage door and one for the side door from the garage to the yard. The wait was minimal and installation was excellent. They were professional and friendly. We love the doors as they reduce sun and insects and are easy to use. Additionally, the screen frames blend well with our house. We recommend ClearView screens.”

“Over 100 years of Santa Clara History The Harris-Lass home belonged to two families in its tenure in Santa Clara. I had the pleasure of touring the home with the President of the Historic Preservation Society of Santa Clara, Bob Byrd. If anyone knows this home, it is Mr. Byrd, whose knowledge of it is nearly as extensive as those who resided in it. The tour through the home takes about 90 minutes, no photography is permitted within the house. Guests are permitted to take as many photos of the grounds as they wish as well as to visit the other buildings. The collection of period materials is one of the most extensive in the valley as the grand-daughter of Captain Lass, left nearly everything she had in the home when she departed. Her parting wish was to have the home preserved for future generations under the governance of the city. Thanks to her generous donation and the work of the preservation society, we may all show our appreciation.”

The store is clean - much more noticeable as we emerge from over a year of sheltering in place :D. The people are PLEASANT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. A woman who offered to help me, quickly referred me to a man who is far more knowledgeable. He spent a lot of time listening, asking questions, explaining many aspects of the project I am about to embark on. He then shared a lot of additional knowledge knowing I was very lost in the art of beauty. The sales throughout the store were non-pressure. I was sold only what I need. I also recommend you bring pictures of what you wish to achieve where possible, and know specifically what you like, don't... You don't have to know the technical terms, just be able to communicate and it will help the staff to serve you better. I highly recommend shopping at Beauty Avenue. Aug. 21, 2021.”

“We had Best Bay Plumbing do quite a bit of work: * install a floor sink in our garage * re-route water softener discharge & overflow lines to floor sink * re-route heat pump water heater condensate & drain pain & pressure relief valve to floor sink * re-route central HVAC air handler condensate drain line to floor sink * install water heater on water heater stand above floor sink * remove old drain lines and repair the kitchen sink drain line the above used to tie in to * whole house drain pipe snaking to ensure no blockages * camera inpsection before and after all work was done to ensure everything is in order Russell was professional, timely, and coordinated the concrete work with my wife and I so we experienced minimal down time. I will definitely be working with Russell again when we get to the point of re-modeling our bathrooms and kitchen.”
