“Your local neighborhood liquor store. Today was a very hot 85-90 degrees so I appreciated the comfy air conditioning inside. Great selection of craft beers from what I glanced, surprisingly larger than you think indoors. Convenient selection of snacks, household goods, beverages, etc. Very clean and plenty of parking in the plaza outside. Always a friendly chat with staff behind the counter. I felt so welcomed when I moved in initially and said as much. Great local business in a nice little pocket of Santa Clara, might have to deal with a bunch of students during school hours but otherwise perfect pitstop. Domino's next door as well (great option to grab drinks here!) Cool and neat visits so far, I'll probably be a regular.”

“Outstanding service department. I don't trust anybody else to repair my mountain bike. They treat you right if you're hands-off or if you're learning to wrench on your bike. They'll often squeeze in a tune up or quick fix for free without an appointment. Today they bailed me out from a crank replacement that went south due to a mislabeled part, even though I didn't have an appointment. Great selection of tools, parts, lubes, etc.”

“This park is huge! There are two different playgrounds onsite (opposite ends of the park). Both structures have slides, climbing areas, and some kind of seesaw. One playground has a water play area with rings that spray water and a few ground sprayers. The other playground has some larger slides, small rock climbing area, spinning structures, swings, and a baby/toddler play structure. The playgrounds are connected with a nice long walking path and lots of green space to play. Some soccer classes happen in this space too. There are 3 large parking lots and each playground has it's own bathroom structure. There are lots of picnic tables and some grills too. Definitely recommend for a fun place to play and hang out with family/friends.”

“This Free Community Health Center provides free health care to the uninsured and underinsured population - no questions asked. The even pay for Lab tests. I have had the privilege to work with this group of amazing Physicians and volunteers to help out with Flu Shots, Food Shelters and Homeless shelter drives. I am now trying to help them look for a mobile medical van (through any donations, grants or directly purchase - any help appreciated) so that Physicians can provide services at locations where the community can benefit immediately in addition to coming to the physical location on Ruby Ave. San Jose.”

“Dr. Guan and Dr. Liu are great physicians. I went in there for shoulder pain and was first recommended to try a combination of Tui-Na and stretches. However that wasn't enough so tried acupuncture and cupping as well. After a few sessions, there's already improvement in the pain in my shoulder. Both of them are extremely kind and dedicated to help fix my problem. I recommend trying this out if you have similar issues before doing something more extreme like pain medication and surgery. Regular massages, stretching and changes in daily routine could potentially help.”

“Good gym, it does the job. If you avoid 5-7 PM, you’ll rarely have to wait to use equipment. Employees are chill. The variety of machines are great as well. My only issue is the bathroom. It’s the most foul smelling bathroom I’ve ever been in. For each inhale I took, I could feel the urine entering my lungs. I swear I could’ve drowned. Other than that it’s a great gym. Also closing at 8 PM on weekends is crazy. Please make 24hr Fitness 24 hours again.”

“Stayed at this hotel while on business for 2 nights. Room was very clean when I checked in. Staff were very nice and kind. Check in was smooth. Area is safe. Plenty of food options nearby, including El Pollo Loco next door (a quality budget option). If your looking for a stellar breakfast spot nearby I recommend Holder's Mission City Grill which is 1/2 a mile down the road near Target. Best Pancakes I've ever had.”

“Always a good time! Get a seas9n pass support our local theme park so we have one. We buy season passes every year. My parents did for us in the 90s, and I love that this is a childhood memory I get to share with my kid. If you have a gold pass you get into water park before g.a. so you know you'll get a beach chair. But maybe get a cabana occasionally, it's "fancy" my son says.”

He keeps the class fun, but structured and mixes in life lessons on values such as trust, honesty, discipline and focus. The impact this has made on "tween" son's confidence can be seen in all areas of his life. My only wish is that I had known about Jerry sooner so I could have started my son with him years ago.
