Summer time events are good for kids where you can actually get to see celestial objects thru those huge telescopes. But winters you can find a snow up here! & if you are just looking for some adventure drive then be ready to take those hairpin 360 bends all the way up! All in all, definitely recommended place if you are in Bay Area!”

“Great spot to camp, not too far from home but far enough from the busy city life. Reasonable nightly fees, camp sites are spacious and good distance between neighboring sites. Several hiking trails, beautiful views. It does get chilly at night and critters are so used to humans they will walk up to your site and snatch what they like :D Fills up quickly so reserve in advance.”
