“...continued by Erek-Jon Blaschke (Google cut me off) Tim’s story of medicine vs science added to the fact that we need to build a relationship with God, get to know him and “praise” vs “thank” him. There is a difference, and the co-worker analogy really helped clear the variance between the two terms (I currently live in a chicken coupe, I should be thankful, it’s not out on the streets). Tim also spoke of his fowl mouth prior to becoming a pastor, very relatable in my situation to my anxiety and aggressive driving. Perhaps it’s time to check it in! I was literally crying the entire time he spoke, it all hit home. It totally makes sense, I can see the light. (The light in which we speak of so much in the Catholic Church). I thought... I may have it bad, but this ain’t nothin. I have my health and hopefully my sanity too????????. Likewise, my family is safe and in good care. Thanks God My tears came from a release! All the built up anger, frustration and pain... all up and left my soul. It was like I found a new friend, now it’s time to get to know him. Then maybe I can understand how to praise him. I dont have it as bad as Tim, when he was facing near death on multiple occasion. But we all hit rock bottom at some point in life. A time where we don’t know where to turn, how to fix it... but the fighter within won’t allow me to quit. It never has. But overcoming the other, small, outside factors is a good start. Today I think Tim just took a HEAVY LOAD off my shoulders as I fight an uphill battle to win back what I’ve lost. I wish I got to thank Tim and shake his hand today. But perhaps, it’s best that he meets us as a family someday. I hope he prepares for that day they return to me, cause I’d love to share a meaningful moment of praising God with my family. I hope I can come back in the future and thank Tim for this knowledge that I didn’t have prior to 10am this morning. I will pursue it til the day I see my kids again. I wanna be a proud dad again, too! Thanks goes out to the entire parish of Redemption Hill. -Erek”

“I am amazed, though not surprised at all, at the professionalism and the care with which these movers helped me. I am not surprised, as my friend Patricia had just engaged this company for her move last month and had only sparkly things to say about the whole process. I am in awe of their strength, their wisdom, their stamina, and their care to point out any dents or dings existing in my "well-loved" possessions, just to ensure that there were no misunderstandings later. I spent all day with these men, and they did not offer any advice unless I requested it! This is big in my world! When I did need advice and I asked, they were very responsive and I felt as though they were advising me in the same way they would offer help to their sister. I am beyond impressed with this company. I hope I never need to move again, but if I do, they will be the first people I call. In the meantime, I hope more people will learn about their high quality service. When I mentioned to each of them how impressed I was with their work, they each responded, "We love what we do," at different times during the day. I'm here to tell you - it really shows. I should mention that in addition to my many possessions, that they moved my 1908 vintage HEAVY upright piano. Well done, Beal's Moving!”

“I have been coming here over 13 years! Kristy has been the owner for a few years now and she is great! She's so sweet and helpful, I even privately contacted her to help me with a plan for massage on the day I planned to ask my now fiance to marry me. She made it happen and kept it a secret! All the employees at Calistoga Massage are great! We have Kat, Victoria and Amber the most, they all have a little different style ranging from deep tissue to relaxing, but are great! We always leave feeling so relaxed and better then when we came in! There prices are really affordable! I also visit Dr. Tyson for my chiropractic needs and that's great, he gives me tips to stay healthy and to help me not have to come visit him as often. I have never had a negative experience or problem in all the years I've come here, highly recommend this business!”

“I came to Pura Vida in March of 2019. Before I ever got there, I called a lot of places all across the country and I got the impression from speaking to Alex that Pura Vida was the best choice; I'm glad I made that decision. When I arrived there, things we going very poorly in my life. The staff and the other clients went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to help me get my feet under me. While living in the Old Ranch house, I participated in IOP at Pura Vida and worked a full time job. The clinical staff was accomodating and flexible regarding my hours and work demands. I can't say the cliche "this place saved my life" because I don't want to be cheesy, but I can say with certainty that during the 6 months that I lived there my life steadily improved, my relationships improved, I put money in my bank account, I took care of legal problems... things generally just got a lot better. After 6 months there, I was accepted to a university in a different state and I moved away to attend. I was able to keep the momentum that I had built at Pura Vida and my life today is way better than what I imagined it could be when I was making calls trying to find a sober living back in March. In conclusion, I think Pura Vida is as good a sober living as you will find. The rest is really up to you.”

“Nice courses. A little something for most skill levels. East Course is a shorter course with all par 3 and par 4 holes. Good for beginners or if you're looking for a bit quicker round. West Course is regulation 18 holes with a good but not really challenging layout. Both are very reasonably priced.”
