“This campround is one of a kind, at 7000 ft this was one hell a hike. I I started my one-night backpacking trip at the Chorro grande trailhead down off the 33, I ascended through typical chaparrel that turns into switchbacks up the steep mountain. It eventually turns to a conifirous forest and ends on the paved Reyes peak campround. The campground has amazing views that span the Ventura coast and back towards the Cuyama Badlands.”

“35$ a night typical camping rates. Close to nearly private beaches. We got here late, around 1:30 on a Saturday and there was still around 10 spots to choose from. There's clean flushing toilets and hot showers for 50 cents for 2 minutes. So far so good. There's a ton of dumpsters close by so for us, that was a plus. No bugs or scary wildlife to worry about. The neighbors were friendly and all felt safe. Overall, I really liked this campground. Mostly it was because of how clean the bathrooms were. They get a daily cleaning at around 6am and smell like bleach. Only thing that was a negative was there was no water spickets to get washing water for dishes. Otherwise a very cool place to camp.”

“Dudes. This place is by the beach. You can go on bike rides that aren't very far away. There's a great little cute downtown area. At this point I'm really stretching out my review but I did have a splendid day at the beach.”

“Why is anyone "reviewing" this place?! Hollywood Beach Seaside Mobile Home Park is a PRIVATE residential community. There are no services offered to the public & no one is invited to "come on by & check it out". It's not an AirBnB or a vacation rental spot. How would it be if your own house were subject to reviews & unwarranted comments by "helpful neighbors"? Please keep your thought to yourself & review actual businesses welcoming customers - places of commerce NOT residences. Thank you.”

“This hotel was fantastic. The room was massive, the grounds were beautiful, it was steps from the beach, and everyone was friendly. The layout was slightly confusing, but as soon as you have gone everywhere once it was easy to navigate. The wheelchair accessible room was setup perfectly to accommodate someone with disabilities and getting around the grounds was easy. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.”

“This is my all-time favorite place to camp! It's also a doggie paradise; be prepared for local dogs to occasionally wander up and say hi! The campsite is as remote as you can get for car camping. It's like 20 miles away from anything...except for the bar & grille (and cluster of cabins) about 1/4 mile from the camp's entrance! You can get ice there, as well as great food and drink (and, hopefully, a head's up if a wildfire breaks out in the area!). The bar generally caters to bikers and other people who would prefer to party 20 miles away from civilization...but I grew up around bikers, so I don't have any kind of problem with this. They were all super nice, and half of the people there had dogs to greet mine. I camped there over Halloween, and while there was a bash going on at the bar, we couldn't hear anything at all at our campsite, other than the creek. Site 17 is my favorite; it's far back, yet close to a toilet, and close to the creek. There is a site closer to the creek, but this site seems bigger...and I've had bobcats come through my site when camping by other creeks, so I prefer the extra space, haha. I hope to camp here at least once a year!”

“Clean, retro hotel. Beds are firm, water pressure was good (shower is a little short), and there definitely needs to be some repainting done in the room (especially bathroom). Staff was pleasant.”

“Clean, fun place, with the right company! Plenty of space for people and activities, but not much else to do close by, (for a big group) so have plenty of activities to keep kids and others entertained. The tables are a bit worn, but serviceable, and they have a restroom, although no water.”

“This place is pretty nice as far as accommodations go and I’ve stayed with them a couple times. Pet friendly. Their customer support is not what it could be. I forgot an item during my stay once, called them and left a voicemail with my phone number and my room number, but never got a call back.”

“It's a very quaint place. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Most importantly it's worth the money, I got a two queen bed room for just $85. Whereas, I only needed a single twin bed. The breakfast was good. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, breads, bagel, butter, peanut better, yogurt, juices, tea and most importantly fresh and hot coffee”

“Loved it. The hotel is conveniently located close to food, gas, the coast and Ventura (which was where I was visiting). The room was clean, comfy and the kitchen stocked with all the utensils needed. The breakfast was excellent- beyond what I've had anywhere else. The complimentary food during the cocktail hour was good. I only wish they had offered it every day. The staff is amazing. Very friendly and accommodating.”

“Very good facilities and full hook ups. We've been here for 3 day weekends on several occasions. Staying 30 days because of a relocation situation. Landscaping has deteriorated a lot over the last year and the daily rate jumped dramatically from $30 to $40 per day. That's a 33% jump. I think $35 would have been more appropriate. Ants are still terrible but spraying home defense around your tires and items touching the ground keeps them in control. Overall, it's a good stop and place to hang out.”
