“WOW!! found this park while looking around on Google maps. This place is a hidden park. It has a DG track, large grass are a for soccer, kids play area, benches, restrooms and a small area where you can work out with some stuff you would find in a gym. This is my wife's and my new spot to bring my daughter and dog.”

“I went here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty good. A little hard to find seeing how the ENTIRE park has fences through and around it which is pretty odd. The people there were nice and there were enough dogs. It was half grass and half clay with a shaded table area. Parking was easy I just pulled up front. I am assuming its not a very busy dog park except maybe at certain times. It seems people showed up often but didn't stay that long or long enough for even more dogs to arrive. The rest of the park was VERY busy but it didn't interfere with the dog park. I would recommend this park if your local.”

“The place of the Strawberry Festival and a few other events are hosted here. This place is awesome. I take my daughter here to play at the park and every once in a while we bring our bikes to ride on the path around the park. Next door there is also a dog park where we take our dog. The College park also has place to BBQ and host parties, large grass area where they host soccer games. They also have basketball hoops. Lots of them. Restrooms are also available here.”

“A place to commune with the plants, a place of education, and a place of natural beauty, the Earth Island Herbs Garden is a very special place not to be missed on a trip through Ojai! Beyond the garden lies the guiding source of light and life, Mama Earth, Carol Wade, has been the driving force of this magical place. Here, garden tours/medicinal walks are conducted by Carol, showcasing medicinal plants and the body systems they are highly revered in, giving you a clear insight as to how you can integrate plant medicine into your own life. There are also wonderful examples of sustainable gardening and eco friendly solutions to cultivating your own garden shade and mindful way of living at home. In addition to the garden itself, Carol offers herbal studies certification programs for all levels throughout the year, retreat experiences, and so much more.”

“As a person who grew up in Thousand Oaks, I loved going to Underwood Farms every year to get pumpkins. Recently it feels like it's lost its identity as a family farm and feels more like Disneyland in its early years. Limoneira has taken the throne as the best place to go. It reminds me of what I loved at Underwood without the insane prices. My daughter loves it. Especially the petting zoo. You can get up close and pet all sorts of animals. Pro tip: talk to the kids handling the animals. They can offer lots of fun info.”

“Nice spot with a fire pit and running water from a pipe, though the water is not always running. It's actually decently foresty for being so close to Los Angeles. It's around 5 or 6 miles from the trailhead with some up and down.”

“Nice little campground and picnic area way up there, with an easy short hike to the falls. It rained a lot before we were there so there was water overrunning the trail, and the campground entrance, but we managed it. Nice place to relax.”

“Beautiful place to have a wedding. We also loved that we were allowed to pick lemons, oranges and other fruits from the orchard during the reception. So much fun!”

“A Backcountry gem with year round water. The Sespe Wilderness is magical.”

“It was a great experience hiking this place. It was quaint and meditative hiking this trail alone. The trail is about 2 miles consisting of trees, bushes, couple of creeks in between and a gravel bed. No big scenics, until we hit a few mounds of rocks. The almost 2 miles hike was worth it after seeing these rocky hills. There was a smell of some sort of herbs or something in the entire trail that was therapeutic.”

“My dog loves this place! There are usually plenty of other dogs to play with and most owners seem responsible. I'm giving it only four stars because there aren't nearly enough baggie disowned for such a large area.”
