“This bike shop is the best bike shop I have ever been to. I stopped by on a whim last year because the ratings were so good, and the owner Kenji and I quickly became friends. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he is really into supporting riders no matter what your discipline. This is different than other shops that are just in it to sell you a new bike and then don’t care if they see you again. Area Cycles has a huge following and rightfully so. If this isn’t the first bike shop you go to when you need a part or a repair, it should be. Also, I am a girl and have been discriminated against at other bike shops because they think I’m not a hard core rider or think that I don’t ride gnarly stuff. Kenji is the exact opposite. He loves to see women and kids ripping it up. Can’t gush about this place enough. Go there and spend your money already!! What are you waiting for??”

“This store is amazing! If you enjoy music (who doesn't), you MUST stop in to flip though the bins of vinyl, the racks of gear, the books, gifts, etc. You won't be disappointed to took the extra time to check out this GEM!”

“Cardinal's selection is limited compared to the Bike Connection next door, but they have a better stock of affordable bikes. They offer great discounts, too. Really friendly staff who'll take care of you and help out with installing anything extra you get.”

“Awesome service. Great people and very helpful. Bought 2 bikes and a carrier, even when I was offered a bike for free. Highly recommend. Support the small shops.”

“I had a great experience when talking with Brian. His ideas are amazing. When I went in I was unsure on what to expect, he made me feel comfortable in guiding me in the direction I needed to go. Being disabled and my balance is not the best anymore. I am unable to ride like I would like to, Brian explained that there are three wheel bikes he can do, which will be great for retirement communities to get around. I highly recommend Titan Performance Fabrication. ”

“Why walk when you can ride a golf cart. It is really helpful to rent a golf cart to see the main points of Catalina Island. I was only in Catalina Island for the day and the golf cart saves time to be able to do other activities. You can see all the main points via the route they recommend in one hour. However, it is better to rent it for the full 2 hours in case you want to see the Wrigley Memorial & Botanical Gardens. The price for 2 hours is $90.00 and there is a $45 cash (only) deposit fee. You get the deposit back once the cart is returned. The driver who gave me the golf cart was friendly to show how to operate it. My recommendation is to make sure to reserve a time frame online. The golf carts sell out quickly when you arrive to the island. The company provides a map that shows the streets and route to take to get the best views.”

“I have been going to this store for 6 years, first for motorcycle gloves and most recently for a very cool electric bike, they literally have hundreds of electric bikes in stock and I was able to try many different kinds of bikes for a long ride and the staff was very helpful in helping me decide which bike to get, what I liked most was the high quality products that they offer like Bosch bikes, now that I've had my bike for a couple of years I've taken it back for service and they've always been spot-on and very helpful giving you the right information about my bike and offering different accessories that I can add to my enjoyable riding experience, my electric bike has changed my life and I now go everywhere with it and I've even gone on some of the company's Meetup rides where we ride for 40 or 50 miles with ten or Twenty other Riders all over California , encourage everybody to check out their bikes and then get one using it for commuting but also go on their group rides which are really really really fun”

“I've purchased 3 bikes from Village and in my opinion this is the best shop around. There are plenty of options in Marin but this team is knowledgeable and they take great care of their customers. Austin and Danny are a couple the best mechanics I've worked with. There have been several instances where they have talked me out service ($) that I thought I needed.”

“The best bike shop around! The only shop I will take my mtb to for repairs. Friendly and knowledgeable employees.”

“My wife and I rented one of the tandem bikes. Being newbies to the tandem world, we were somewhat apprehensive. Yet the staff made this a pleasant experience in spite of us getting a flat tire during the ride. The manager even offered us a free credit of time for the period we weren't riding due to the repair. That is customer service with care.”

“Took the train up to San Juan Capistrano from San Diego for a Sunday bike ride to the San Clemente Pier. After just leaving the train station my rear derailleur cable snapped leaving me with one high gear. I limped into San Clemente and was extremely happy to see Bicycles San Clemente as the first business I came to. Being a Sunday I was stoked to see them open. Austin fixed my bike on the spot quickly and for a great price! Service was very friendly and outstanding! Saved my Sunday. Great bike shop!”

“The place to go for ANYTHING cycling related. Not just pro or road cycling. They've got stuff for everyone and the staff is always amazing. Super helpful, they've been great helping answer all of my questions and with helping make me comfortable as I've started getting into riding. They organize weekend rides for riders of any level, host bike clinics to teach people how to change a tire, and a whole lot more. I can't possibly recommend anyone anywhere more than the folks at Wingspan.”

“I bought a Giant E-bike from Hank and Frank and I have loved both the bike and the service I've gotten since. I ride by the shop on the way to and from work and often pop in to have them fix something for me (for example, I kept knocking off the fenders until I got used to them). I've had my bike for a year and have upgraded components over time. Each time, the guys/gal at the shop have helped me make good choices including pedals and saddle. I highly recommend this shop.”
