“Our family has been camping there for the last 4 years. Bathrooms and showers are available and close by each clusters of camp sites. There is one communal sink for cleaning dishes. If you forget to bring your own firewood, the camp ground store sells it for about $9/bundle (6-8 pieces). The staff are always friendly at the camp site and at the marina. We always rent a patio boat to explore the lake: fishing, swimming, hiking, and relaxing.”

“Just rented for two weeks. Managers are super nice. Park is very off the track and secluded, city folks probably won't like it here but is a perfect place for this country boy. They have a dock on a sheltered side canal that word has it is great fishing, especially strippers. Small convince store next to dock. I highly recommend this place as a peaceful and quiet get away.”

“Nice, clean, easy access, level long spaces. No frills, very reasonable rate $29 will full hook ups. We liked the simple, neat and tidy feel of this place. Carlos and crew very friendly and helpful.”

“Really nice trail. It connects the beach and Highway 1 to the campground, and makes for a really good day hike. The upper trail goes to the top of the hill and has great views of the ocean, while the lower trail is shaded by redwoods and has great views of the Russian River. The upper trail is overgrown by grass in some sections, so watch out for ticks.”

“Went during the off-season, so wasn't busy at all. Had the place to ourselves. Can get very windy, so be prepared for that. Overall, nice place to hang out and fish.”

“It is clean and most times quiet and looks like the people maintaining it to do care. That is lots of trees providing shed - some trees hudge, some small just like a bush so call and ask ahead. The weather is adjacent but right there fishing is not easy because the shore is sometimes inaccessible and is guarded by trees which make casting impossible. There is water, showers and the restrooms are acceptable.”

“Relaxing region with cooling soft breeze and very friendly park rangers. There's quite a lot of open land that are perfect to host gatherings/events on, unlike many other neighboring lakes/beaches that are more heavily populated with trees & bushes & unleveled terrain while condensing people to smaller tight designated areas. This one is pretty open and its layout is a lot like a mini version of Bodega Bay minus the gigantic rocks & slopes & different nature of residence(river-lake vs bay/coastal)”

“Nice park. Very clean bathrooms. Kids loved the water park. Grass area is very well maintained, luscious, soft, and a thick base. Was like ealking on a sponge. Nice view of part of reservoir.”

“We camped in one of the lakefront cabins and the other half of our party had a lakefront trailer site; we all thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Great for a family camping trip--especially with young kids. We also enjoyed the paddle boats and the ducks.”

“Beautiful lakes & camping areas. I visited friends staying there. It was hot,but decent breeze. The only caveat was the pesky ants, flies and bees ,while trying to eat BBQ. Recommend some pest control-even the little field mouse was trying to stay ahead of the critters!????”

“It was a very pleasurable trip I stayed in the cabin on the water and my siblings also stayed in the cabins next to me I have other siblings in the cabins on the on the land and it was just the most awesome experience there was fishing campfires pedal boats that went to each cabin to use whenever we wanted Everything is in the cabin as far as cook ware, full kitchen space for 6 to sleep. It was a really enjoyable experience, I would definitely do it again It at first, seemed pricey, but in the end, it was well worth every penny.”

“Good access to lake, pools, and surrounding parks. The RV parking spots are in a parking lot, so it doesn't feel like wilderness, but the hookups are nice for an extended stay.”

“U can't get any closer to the ocean at a camp site. Had a great time, only down side is, NO SHOWERS! I would think to have soap in restrooms but no. I will definitely will go back.”
