“The Pharmacy Assistant that helped me out this evening, Maria , brought myself and my wife to tears. My wife recently lost her insurance and has been unable to find work due to covid. Her prescriptions were about $400 and money is already tight, my wife was debating how she can skip some pills and save some money, etc. because we just would not be able to afford it. If you don't want to wait in person, you can (sometimes) waitlist online to sell, which can save you some time. And for those who complained in their one-star reviews about not receiving a significant payout for high-end items.. why not sell it elsewhere, like a luxury resell store? There are online and in-person stores that price their items much higher, so you may get a higher payout. I personally don't think of Crossroads as somewhere I recoup the cost of what I originally paid.. to me, it's being able to share my items with my community, to contribute to the circular economy, and to reduce fashion waste.”
