My needs/desire, for a certain area (close to the dog park) was immediately completed. The park is pristine! Well cared for, perfectly landscaped. The dog park is much appreciated and well maintained. I will definately refer this park to all who check out ratings, prior to making a reservation! My husband and I agree this is a 5-Star RV Park. “Nice, clean place to live! Staff keeps park in great shape, always looking clean and well kept. The rules are strick at times, but it keeps our park one of the better mobile parks in the area! No privacy from neighbors, that's the biggest drawback. But, nice commmunity, security guards are on patrol, and low crime! Not to shabby!”

“Good campground with really good hike a dirtbiking right in site. You can hike down about 4 miles to the falls and rock diving spot. Which is what we did. Took about 2.5-3 hour each way. Was worth it. Only issue with the place was the road to the campground isn't paved and is kind of Rocky. We still managed with our sienna but it wasn't great. Wouldn't be any problem for a higher vehicle. Would recommend.”

“Treacherous hike in but found where the rock seeps water and pools up. Small ancient water snails inhabit the water that supplies a drinking source for several species of animals. And I did catch a glimpse of a 7 to 8 ft diamondback rattlesnake traversing the steep shady hillside that leads down to the spring, so watch out!”

“Check in was easy, staff friendly and helpful. Parking lot was a little tricky to find but parking isn't an issue. The hotel itself is clean and the room was as well. Direct TV is provided so there isn't an issue trying to find something to watch. Bathroom came well stocked with towels. Great overnight stay.”

“Outstanding food and superb service and hospitality at this cozy, romantic, roadside eatery in a "postcard" spot along California's breathtakingly beautiful coast. Not only were we in the extraordinarily capable hands of Kerri, our server, but we happened to dine on a night when the proprietor, Bert, was in the house. The service was amazing! Bert personally checked his cellar and offered a fabulous bottle of wine that wasn't on the list. But the real deal is the food. The menu is creative, inspired, but approachable and the bottom line, it's delicious! Too often, places like this can rely on a steady stream of business driven by the sunsets and gorgeous views, and they end up not putting the effort into their food and service. Thankfully, that is NOT the case here! This place is so good they could black out the windows and I bet folks would still come back again and again for the fabulous food and warm, thoughtful service. I know I would! This makes the views and sunsets all the more special! If you are anywhere in the area, put this place on your list; you won't regret it!”

“I was here in 1997 with some friends and I still talk about the trip to this day. We hiked all the way to the ocean. It was an amazing hike(beware of stinging nettles) lots of fruit along the way during season. Mussels all over the rocks and at low tide it was easy to pick 5lbs worth to carry back for dinner. I will be back again.”

“Nice open fire roads for hiking and lots of different options for routes. The Buena Vista loop has a view of Grant Lake as well as Lick Observatory when you climb the hills. Low traffic trails. Make sure to bring plenty of water and sunblock. There’s not a lot of shade on most trails. I’d recommend longer hikes in the fall or early spring.”
