“I stayed here this weekend for one night as part of a school trip. We booked 9 rooms. The rooms were clean and had plenty of towels. Rooms had a microwave and mini fridge. Beyond that, I forgot my glasses during my stay and they shipped them to my home free of charge! Great service. There's also a delicious Thai restaurant nearby.”

“Clean place, bathroom we're clean and we'll stock. That camp Rangers we're not so nice. No electricity or water hook up, no problem, I have a generator,. The Rangers informed, in true military manner,. ALL GENERATORS OFF AT 2000 HUNDRED HOURS !!!That's 8pm. It was dropping into the 30s at night. My wife's and I have both caught a good flu,. At our age it's not a good thing. The camp ground was not crowded and my neighbor was not the least bit bothered. So, thanks for the visit, I won't be back.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean but a bit too modern. I would have liked actual drawers on the nightstands and a larger shower area. The mattress slides around the wood platform it's on. For some reason they had no bottom fitted sheets for our bed so it just kept sliding all over. The kitchenette was handy with 2 burners, a toaster, dishes and utensils, a tiny microwave and coffee maker. The price is great. The area is sort of secluded but there's still some seedy characters around. Housekeeping is every other day which I actually liked. Wifi was great. Heater/AC was a bit wonky and we cooked on cold nights, but I say the experience was still good and we'll stay there again for sure.”

“All of the staff here are really nice and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, and I even got and upgrade to a suite. Upon entering the room, it was very clean and welcoming. There was a kitchenette and a small fridge even! The TV was DirectTV and had more channels than I would ever need, but overall I was pretty happy to have scored such a room with a low rate on a Saturday night. The freeway noise is present outside, but I had no issue with it in the room and with the door closed. The property is well lit and has good camera coverage all over. I felt very safe as well as safe for my car sitting outside. In the morning, when I went to check-out, there was a large white pitbull roaming around the parking lot looking for food, but didn't look like it was going to attack anyone. I mentioned it to the front desk on my way out. Also, another negative is I found a used fork sitting in the kitchen sink that I hadn't put there. Easy to overlook though. I would stay here again, no question.”

“I can't believe I'm giving 5 stars to a campground in the middle of a cow pasture! Nevertheless, this is a fantastic place to camp with a group. Once you het past the cow patties, you realize you're just hundreds of feet from the Pacific and its glory. The wide beach is perfect for jogging or exploring, and is accessed through the grassy sand dunes, so rare on the west coast. On the other side of the pasture is a huge, looming sand mountain. It's incredible to climb to the top and roll or run down. Bring snowboards and sleds for a thrill. Be prepared for the likelihood of chilly winds, no matter the inland weather. Overall, a wonderful family getaway.”

“We had a great time here last summer. We usually camp closer to the beach, but I took too long to make our reservations. Luckily I was able to find space here. My friends and family loved it. We went on a few hikes around the area and went to the big open rock area to look at the stars at night. We did bring our dogs along and they had a good time too, you can only take dogs on designated trails (paved road) The campsite is very big on cleaning up all food and trash so to not attract predatory birds. The area was great, only thing was, the restrooms right near our campsite was completely out of order, closed off. We had to go a distance for the restroom/shower. Made it a bit of a cluster muck at the restrooms. But all in all great.”

“Very nice looking place. Great Lobby with tables/seating for eating/watching news/coffee. Rooms have kitchenette, large fridge, microwave, stove, breakfast seating, w/ chairs. Large bathroom with shower/bath, toilet, sink, built in hairdryer. Large bed, pillows TOO soft, comfortable bedding. Recliner in room(ours didn't recline) night stand on 1 side of bed. Flat screen TV w movies for rent or you can watch cable TV. Has a linen closet wbehind a closed door- separate from the actual clothing closet which has plenty of drawers, hanging space, luggage storage a curtain to cover closet space. Kitchenette has cabinets above & below. Telephone in room. Rooms are odd on one side & even on other side- bit confusing to find at NIGHT, unless front lobby staff show you WHERE YOUR ROOM IS.”
