“Camp hosts were great. They run a tight ship. Which is awesome. The rules are given to you after they check you in. It makes it easier so everyone is on the same page. It was quiet and clean. Showers were immaculate and so were the toilets. Make sure to grab firewood at the general store before you get up there. Just follow the rules and you shouldn’t have any issues. It helps for a comfortable stay for everyone.”

“We loved using FIDUS Pet Concierge!! The facility is always clean and the staff is super nice! They remembered my senior dog as we would be there weekly and were always so sweet to her. When my dog died, they sent a sympathy card to acknowledge her passing! The note was very touching and meant a lot to our family. This is the type of personal touch I like to see as a consumer. “We were only in the area for one night, but I am so thankful this is the hotel I booked. The front desk staff were so friendly, especially the gal that was working when we checked out this morning, wish I would’ve gotten her name! We got a king suite and the room was immaculate. It was definitely more than we needed for the night but we slept great! The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is the breakfast. While I very much enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches that seemed to be homemade and were oh so delicious, my boyfriend wished there were a few more choices for eggs and breakfast meats as opposed to having to tear apart a sandwich to get just that. The outside grounds were very nice, as was everywhere inside we ventured. We will definitely be staying at this hotel every time we are in the area. The price was great, the hospitality was great, the whole experience was pretty great!!”

“We had a two bedroom margarita suite. Furnishings were nice and kitchen, washer, dryer all worked well. Room was a bit dusty but overall clean. Lots of great places to eat around here. Found a great activity for kids every day of the week we were there, all within 15-20 min drive. Pools are amazing (one of the pools under construction at the moment) and nicely heated to swim comfortably in 50 degree weather. Staff are all friendly, from security to front desk to activity staff. Can't say much about housekeeping since we didn't get housekeeping services during our stay. We stayed during Christmas week and there were daily activities such as crafts, bingo, socials, etc.”

The server was on point with our order, was patient, and even delivered our food fast and respectfully. For what we had it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. I would definitely go again. Their Carne Asada wasn't bad. I expected it to be quite flavorless, was surprised. Now don't expect backyard, family at the park Carne Asada, but it was good. Their black beans was not for me, the Pico de Gallo in them was a surprise. Not for me, didn't mind them at the same time. Do look into their happy hour timeframes. Definitely worth it!”

“Staying here depends on what you're looking for. We just wanted a reasonably priced hotel in Kings Beach for 2 nights. We found it! It was VERY clean. Rooms are tiny and didn't even have a chair but we brought beach chairs and even sat outside the room and enjoyed the view. No one was onsite but we managed to get more coffee from the housekeeper in the morning. If you stay more than one night, why do they only give enough coffee for one? (One of my pet peeves in most hotels)? Curtains didn't keep out all of the light at night so if you're a sensitive sleeper, bring a sleep mask.”

“Amazing location, 10 min walk from downtown, & 5 min walk from the boardwalk. Room in side house was beautiful, staff is very accommodating, everything is clean and organized. Found my new spot, I will definitely be bringing the misses back. Didn't have to touch the car for 3 days & they have off street parking. All in all we both think their biggest area of improvement is their coffee in the morning. 5 out of 5 stars.”
