“Ain't the fanciest but it ain't bad either! Do you need a getaway for a few days featuring a campfire? For 30 bucks a night that can be your getaway at Dos Pecos! Get more civilized campsite while feeling like having some amount of privacy. For people who are serious about roughing it this place may not be for you. People passing through for a night or two and weekenders this is a great spot. Full hookups and bathrooms with the works is what you get here. No need to answer the call of the wild IN the wild here. That as well as good phone service so contact with civilization is a touch-screen away, not to mention that the city of Ramona is a 10 minute drive. You'll find some good eats there as well as interesting stores to explore. Either way its not a bad place to experience for a weekend camping trip. Would recommend.”

“Such a beautiful place to be immersed in nature. Great trail options so u can opt for shorter or longer walks if you are with people(or kids or elderly) that need smaller distances. I can't believe that was my first time. It's one of those hidden gems that not many people even know about. But it's a definite "must do" if you need some nature therapy! Will definitely be back and packing some water so i can roam in there more hours. Turtles, ducks, birds, squirrels, lizards, trees, water.. yes please!????”

“wow i couldn't believe how many birds i saw in the short while i was there. The park was closing by the time i arrived, but the nice fellow let me walk real quick to view it. I definitely have to come back when it opens. Every first Saturday of the month 8am to 12pm. I spotted at many species of birds in the 5 or so minutes i walked threw. MUST SEE PLACE !! see you this the first Saturday in June of 2016 =) ill be there at opening time photographing the nature of this park for a couple hours at least.”

“So the actual park is the smallest thing ever. There is a plaque congratulating themselves on the designation and saving of the land for it. Honestly there is about 20 feet of actual grass and a couple of trees here. The shopping district I the other hand is nice and has a bunch of wonderfully nifty shops.”

“Five acre park with community room, soccer field, playground, and picnic areas. Named after The Windermere Ranch grew lemons and grapefruit but it was olive oil that made the ranch famous. The citrus packing plant and olive oil building were located off of Stage Road where the Santa Fe rail line shipped the finest olive oil and citrus fruit throughout the United States.”
