Address: N Fork Trail, La Jolla, CA 92037, USA
“This is an excellent trail for running while enjoying fantastic views of the coastline and Pacific Ocean. As you get out closer to the edge you have a great vantage point to see whales, and dolphins. The park services did an excellent job of renovating the entire trail over the past few years. Get out and enjoy this coastal walk, it is worth every minute.”

“Smaller dog park but its not a bad one at all. It is always kept clean and is well maintained. Good for fluffier dogs because it's a pretty windy dog park because it's next to the big open area taken by the freeway (there are no fumes from cars). There are always dogs there for your pup to play with too!! Its also fun to go without having a dog due to all the dogs usually having lots of interest on people.”

“Tons of parking at this parking lot. Went on a peak time during weekend and it wasn't more than half full. Lots of lovely trails that branch off and there's a small tunnel nearby allowing you to cross the street safely under the main road.”

“Great hike, but just a single trail. Out and back is about four miles with about 750 of elevation gain. It's a great trail run, as the views are beautiful and it's not heavily traveled. There's no formal parking lot, so you'll have to park on the street. The West entrance had plenty of street parking, but the east entrance requires that you park a couple of blocks away from the start of the trail.”

“I hike here all the time. Trails are wide and well worn, but great scenery around and close to nearby businesses. Coming here has improved not only my physical health, but my mental health as well. There's a rim trail for the unathletic, or a canyon with a 300ft elevation gain that's short enough to do on even a short lunch break.”

Address: 9500 N Magnolia Ave, Santee, CA 92071, USA
“My family had a great walk along the trail from Magnolia to the ball fields. It has some good views of the water and little information boards about the things you may see along the trail. It's nice and flat so it's an easy walk or bike ride and you can push a stroller with no issue.”

“Such a beautiful hike in the San Diego area. It was, however, way more crowded then I would have expected it to be. However, mission trails has a bunch of amazing trails in this area and it is a must hike!”

“A very interesting place in the middle of Sycamore Canyon Preserve. A great spot to rest when doing the loop hike which is about 4.8 miles.”

“Great park! Plenty of space for everyone, things to do for every age. The gated toddler playground could use an update (as well as the bathrooms) but is otherwise a great space for toddler parties and playdates. Thank you Lakewood for always keeping the park clean, safe and well maintained.”
Address: 2040 186th St, Torrance, CA 90504, USA
“Definitely an amazing place to catch the sunset, although it can get a bit windy up there. Amazing views of the Inner Sunset, Torrance and the Golden Gate Bridge. Also a great place to work out if you want to run stairs over and over again with the Mosaic steps near by and plenty of others down the avenues it can be a more scenic stair master.”
