“The park is pretty nice & big. Saw basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball pitch, playground, restrooms & picnic tables. Didnt use bathrooms so cant review that. My kid enjoyed playing in sand in the kid area.”

“Best family park and trails in Sonoma County (and we are blessed to have so many). The hikes up here are just stunningly beautiful all year round, and they're well-maintained and feel safe as well. Whether you have an hour or a day to spare, it's the best.”

“Nice play structures for kids. Restrooms are within walking distance. Lots of paths for kids to ride their bikes on. Only caveat is the unpaved parking lot. There are also picnic tables along the walking-cycling path. Easy access from the main road.”

“The fields and dugouts were great. Plenty of places for shade. But one of my teammates sat on gum in the rock seats/steps next to the snack shack. Cleaning could be better.”

“Beautiful campgrounds with a neat observatory. The bathrooms are ventilated, with flush toilets and actual lighting. There are showers that take quarters, but none of our group ever needed to use them. They were quite clean though. Quite close to the city should an emergency arise. Good for families. Beware of night hiking, as we ran into a couple mountain lions on a rather foolish excursion after dark. They're more scared of you than you are of them but you should still exercise great caution around wild animals. Stick to the daytime for such activities and you'll be fine.”

“Awesome little garden where the French laundry gets their veggies. Perfect walk after eating in any of the restaurants in Yountville.”

“This place was a hidden gem! We decided to take a drive down Silverado Trail. As we made our way down the road I saw a scenic overlook sign. We decided to take the turn and check it out. We were so happy we found this place! There was a small parking lot off the road. When you walk down the trail a bit there is a fork. We decided to take a right to go up a hill and were delighted to see Napa River just below. The kids enjoyed taking their shoes off to walk through the waters. They all said the water was much warmer than expected. This was our favorite spot on the trip to Napa. Definitely something to enjoy with kids and dogs too!”

“Speaking about our spot. The park has most amenities, but I didn't use the pool or laundry room. The roads and most spots are covered in large gravel (crunchy noise all night as cars move about, and don't even think about going barefoot!) Our picnic table hadn't been washed in ages, and there were no privacy barriers. At $140/ 2 nights, I think that's high. However after boondocking for a week it was great to have full hook-ups, and 5 minutes from our event made this park our choice.”

“In October we pulled into the site right across from the office/ laundry room for two nights. Beautifully set under the large palm tree! Loved our stay here. Babbling brook behind the RV, palm trees, peace and quiet! Just what we needed following our stay in noisy San Francisco! Prices were just a little steeper than we would have liked at $62/ night. Once the paving is done, it will be an oasis. Easy access to major routes, Napa Valley and Sacramento.”

“Lovely parks are a great place for kids & families to recreate, it's too bad that they risk running into that homophobic pig Vice-Mayor Mr Hickman who might pollute their young minds!”

“Very nice small park. There's a small playground for the kids, and the grassy area is clean and generally well kept.”
