“Beautiful walk. Very secluded and peaceful (except for the Navy Helicopters, which you get used to). Do as you'd like with this information, but I encountered several groups of "hiding" men in the area. DHS scooped up one bunch after they nearly fell on top of me on one of the trails.”

“Definitely worth the time to check this place out. If you go during the week you can take a long beautiful walk from the main parking lot to the border fence at the beach. Very quit, and secluded. The beach is beautiful and the area is surprisingly very clean. Lots of Border Patrol agents, who are all very nice. You can also rent horses and ride along the sandy beach. Cool place to explore, and the new wall system separating the United States and Mexico is impressive.”

“The tide pools at the Scripps Coastal Reserve are only accessible twice daily, during low tide. Just a short walk on the beach from La Jolla Shores, the tide pools are teeming with wildlife. Small coastal fish, sea anemone, sea slugs, crabs and more can be found in these pools. Shore birds, like the Least Tern and skillful aquatic fishing birds like Egrets can be found feasting during low tide. Check the tide charts before your visit so that you are not disappointed. Parking can be found at La Jolla Shores. The pools are about a mile north on the beach passing the Scripps pier on the way. The pools are part of a Protected Wildlife sanctuary, the San Diego-Scripps State Marine Conservation Area (SMCA). As such the removal of anything from the reserve is strictly prohibited.”

“Nice neighborhood park with tennis courts and playground at one end and another playground for young kids on the other end. Only drawback is the neighbors that let their dogs poop and run freely.”

“Nice small play ground for kids. And a good size grass area with three picnic tables. The only thing is the bathroom needs soap and doors for the stalls in the bathroom.”

“Cool park, lots of grassy hills, large and open area for kids of all sizes. This park is a fun on, the surrounding trees provide ample shade. There are tables and a few gazebo areas. The playground is a lot of fun with tunnels and slides galore. Love a park that has slides and swings. There is a fallen tree/log for kids to climb and balance on. We stayed for a couple of hours and there were always other kids to play with. I'd say new kids rotated in about every 30-45 minutes which is something you don't see at every park (there was even a cool dad with a bucket of toys). My favorite part of this park is probably the entrance. It's so fun going over the bridge and there is like a moat type of set up that likely looks so cool during rainy season. Overall just a lovely park with fresh air and space to run and play. Loved it!”

“I discovered this little oasis of pleasure only because the 704 bus to Santa Monica was on detour due to a section of West Hollywood being closed for the Halloween Street party. I sat by this Italian-design fountain for a little while to refresh my senses on my hour walk towards the ocean. Then I strolled through the landscaped gardens running along the edge of the residential area of Beverly Hills and the main thoroughfare of Santa Monica Blvd. It is a romantic sanded pathway shaded by towering trees with lovely spots to sit along the way. At each crossroad, you can modestly peer into the enchanting world of the Beverley Hills neighbourhood and ponder and appreciate another lifestyle with grace. There are so many fascinating and inspiring enclaves to discover in California and locally in L.A. Walking affords you this opportunity and an enriching means to invest in your health. Find your own rich. The spiritual texts teach: Rich is the man who is happy with his own lot! Walking in the sunshine a free human being, is one positive way to feel rich!”
