“This is a nice neighborhood with upscale homes and parks. From here the view of San Jose is great. The name "Communications Hill" doesn't sound like a name for a residential area. But this being Silicon Valley, I guess it's not that surprising.”

“Awesome park. There’s soccer park next to it.”

“Part of a nice bike trail (although it consists of several disjointed parts with nonsensically lacking transitions: no lowered curb or crossing at Mabury Road; no coherent connection across Capitol, etc.) *And they never do anything about the homeless trashing it. But they spend money on a big pretentious portal near the new BART station. Stupid, just saying.* Fitness equipment. Shallow seasonal creek is fun for kids to explore. Used to have a very nice pond with happy waterfowl, but County maintenance dealt it a death blow by cutting and killing all the reeds along the shore. *Sigh.* Used to have a fountain, too, (strangely misplaced in the unkempt natural-looking pond, like the lamp post in Narnia's lantern waste) and helpful drinking fountains along the walkway, but these features fell victim to drought restrictions when all water got turned off, never to return. Still a nice place for a stroll.”

“My kids love this park. I'm so glad it has that rubber floor. The only thing that this lark has no restrooms at all. It also needs more shade.”

“Andy Kimes has some really great Bamboo, ranging in size from 6 feet tall to 30 feet tall. At one time, the Nursery was called Instant Bamboo Jungle. They do deliver. I have added lighting on the property, for those dark and dreary days, and for Drip watering systems and General Commercial Planting Machines”

“Hiking at Ed Levin is some of the best in the area. Ed Levin offers great views on trails without the congestion like neighboring Mission Peak. My preferred route is Ed Levin to Monument Peak to Mission Peak and back to Ed Levin. I recommend dressing for different types of weather all year round AND to bring plenty of water. Much of the trail is exposed during summer, and the wind patterns change as you climb. This is a popular hang gliding area, so the wind on some days can be biting if you're not prepared.”

“This is a part of the Sunol regional wilderness area. You need to walk 1.5 miles to reach this fall. The trail is along the Alameda creek. Scenic all year round. Plenty of parking and picnic area, camping facility. Need to pay for parking. The fall is small very shallow for teens can play and enjoy. The water flows over very large boulders. Lots of shades and places to sit and eat. Usually it is not crowded. I usually can get even a small space and sit in knee deep water with the family and spend time. You can snack. Water is usually warm and runs all year round. Good place for a family outing. or weekend exercise”

“One of the good trail in the Bay Area. It has multiple trails with various degree of hardness. There are trails along the Alameda creek. Scenic all year round. Plenty of parking and picnic area, camping facility. Kids can play in water and a small water fall easily accessible and can get wet. Good place for a family outing. or weekend exercise”
