“Free as long as you have the local adventure pass you can buy at local merchants like in Lebec at the motorcycle shop or liqour stores. The camp ground lives up to its name as its main attraction is the great valley views. There is a restroom pit style as well as spome fire pits”

“Nice park. Nice green grass in the spring. Can walk to the beach and up the jetty for the harbor. Parking is available. There's a ship on the beach called the San Salvador for kids to play in. The Mermaid statue is located here which is a nice addition. Would be a nice place to have a picnic and bring the kids.”

“Found ourselves the perfect spot to enjoy a couple more hours at the beach before heading back on our journey home to Idaho! splashed in the waves, flew our kite, did some digging in the sand! It was a wonderful afternoon! Showers for rinsing sand off, bathrooms were there, very publicly used. Friendly faces strolled by, seeming to enjoy their time in the sand as we were, no one was bothersome! Thanks for the good time”

“Beautiful! Walk the path here with my mother-in-law and right now it's amazing! So many flowers and vegetation, I've never seen it like this before. Even if the flowers weren't in full bloom it would still be pretty and relaxing. Being by the water is very nice :)”

“We have been coming to fiesta island since moving to San Diego over three years ago. It's been a wonderful place to visit with dogs because the entire island has been off-leash. Now that is about to change and we will miss it so much. It's really sad when things like this are taken away and we lose the freedom to enjoy such beaches with our dogs.”

“Great place for taking a relaxing day. Bring your picnic blanket, grill, and food and have a picnic under the shade, it's quite relaxing and with the view of the bay it makes it more refreshing. Have a stroll or ride your bike along the paths for a little stretch, excercise, or if you just felt like riding a bike for fun. :) We spent the whole afternoon here, until it's sunset, and it's such a fun experience :)”

“If you find yourself here at any time in your life, be thankful. If you give a beach on Coronado less than a 5 star rating, you need to re-evaluate some things. Parking is minimal but free. Surf and sand are fantastic. One of the best beaches I've ever been to and my favorite beach by far.”

“One of my "happy" places! There are great walks as well as hikes and museums about San Diego history. The iconic lighthouse is a great window into the past life of the lonely lighthouse keeper in the 1800's. Also a great place to whale watch in January or February and good birdwatching. Unfortunately they now charge you to even walk into the park. Used to be free for all: cars, bikes and walkers but no more. Still worth it.”

“Its a nice little park with three distinct areas one for kids to play on a pretty big playground. Then there is an area for families to have a birthday or bar b que. It also has a well taken care of baseball diamond that is fenced off so you can, and people do, bring your dog to run around. Or play baseball of course. And finally it has one of the coolest skate parks ive seen.”

I also enjoy that this community has a focus in the QPOC community. A;so the fact that everyone is truly welcomed here is very nice and allows for a more diverse community.”
