“Great little neighborhood park. Play structure is great for younger kids, felt very safe for my preschooler. Smaller grassy spot for dogs on leash. Very quiet, even on a Saturday afternoon.”

“Superb park. I have hosted two birthday parties here. Be sure to reserve your favorite picnic spot online as it gets busy in the Summer with kids birthday parties and other events. I like the spot closest to the road under the large trees. You can watch the kids in the playground while still enjoying a picnic with friends.”

“What a great places is. The views are breathtaking. It's far enough away so that you get very little road noise. Go early in the morning and you'll get a fog rolling across the hills. I find the best time to go is during the week. We can can get busy especially if they have a club meet. This park is public land but is maintained by the archery club. It's free to use but please show respect for the space as well as the people whose hard work goes into maintaining it.”

“Very Serene, very beautiful. It's like 30 minutes from silicon valley but feels like your in a remote mountain/for area. Drive up to hwy35 - hwy9 intersection, spend time at the vista points, enjoy!”

“Relatively quick hike (2-3 miles), but a tricky trail with easy, moderate, and hard difficulties! If you can find your way around, you'll be able to catch Tiptoe Falls and see some banana slugs, and cross two bridges across Pescadero creek. We also saw a couple squirrels and a blue jay. Some of the trail isn't very well marked, so it's best to bring a compass. Keep an eye out for ribbons marking trails that were more shrouded. P.S. There's also no cell reception here so coordinate well! Parking also costs $10 per car.”

“Beautiful location to walk in nature and stroll or jog on your choice of paved or gravel surfaces. Lots of choices of paths wind throughout the estuary, along the Petaluma River and among brackish ponds. It is a much needed sanctuary for thousands of birds of a huge variety year round. My favorite time to go is in the Spring when all the babies are out with their mothers. There are three sort of distinct sections in the park, so you can choose one or travel through all three. It's also a great place for bicycle riding and bird watching is a must. Lots of spots to stop for a snack or lunch. There are public restrooms at a couple locations, as well as a few different parking lots. Parking is free. It's open Dawn to dusk. There are waste bins, picnic tables and resting benches conveniently located throughout as well. Bringing binoculars and or a camera is worth the effort. One caution, there is no cover anywhere from sun or rain or wind, so go prepared in extreme weather.”

“The park itself is beautiful. But the homosexual activity going on in cars and bushes is disgusting. And they leave their trash laying around, used rubbers KY packages. The homeless people are great, always giving good directions to the wonderful places in town.We need to help the homeless a little more and stop putting the blame of all the garbage on them. I've witnessed commuters many times throwing their trash out the car windows as they drive by. Vallejo Mills is a great place to visit P.L.”

“Very nice trail start in a beautiful are with a park like area for larger groups. Plenty of parking near by. Drawbacks, not a true restroom, large porta potties, there is a water fountain but no real sink or place to wash hands, dishes, etc. Like any other parking lot, DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR CAR. Since the parking lot is out of line of sight of the street and this is a calm and quiet neighborhood, it's especially prone to car break-ins. To be fair, I have been visiting this staging area about three times a week for several years, never any issues, but my car is always empty.”
