“Really enjoyable dishes and flavors. Attentive and knowledgeable waiter who kindly pointed out that two of our selections had very similar flavors so steered us to another dish. We ordered four dishes for three diners and it was more than enough food plus some leftover that we brought home. The night we dined was Le Cheval's last at this location in Walnut Creek, sadly closing due to rising rents in the area. Their downtown Oakland location is open and thriving. We all hope they return to Walnut Creek in the future even if in a smaller location further from downtown. In the meantime they will be missed.”

It's beautiful and simple; a memorial to those who lost their lives helping to support their fellow servicemembers fighting in the Pacific theater.”
