“Tons of wildflower around. Down side overcrowded. I got there at 7am and parking wasn't too bad. By 9am when we were heading out it truly looked like a parking lot. Definitely get there early to avoid the crowds.”

“This trail is difficult to find. It starts from Citrus Avenue in Southridge between Alma and Florence in the South of Fontana. Walk south along the dirt road for about 1/4 mile. Look to the left as you walk and count the cement drainage culverts. Climb the third culvert, it is steep, but short. Turn right at the top of the culvert on to a foot trail. Follow this trail for the about next mile and a quarter. This a Backcountry area in the Jurupa Hills. The trail is 2.5 miles round-trip and crosses the Riverside / San Bernardino County border. Elevation gain is 460 feet, enough for some nice views. The majority of the trail hugs the hills and climbs steadily into the hills through a Kangaroo Rat reserve. I have seen Kangaroo Rats at night using a headlamp along the trail. Most commonly, I see rabbits, squirrels, lizards coyotes in the early morning, hawks and all manner of birds. WARNING! If you hike in the heat of the day, you may encounter rattle snakes. Mornings are best or cool days. The last 400 yards of the trail climb steeply to a flat hilltop with surprisingly nice views of Riverside County to the South and San Bernardino County to the Northwest. You can also see the less accessible side of Jurupa Mountain to the Northeast.”

“The Natural Park covers a vast area, is largely unspoilt and has spectacular and varied scenery from small deserted beaches, rugged sea cliffs, small fishing villages, barren areas and mountains. It is a great area for walking with many hiking trails or if you do not feel energetic you can simply criss cross the area by car and take in the scenery.”

“The facilities are awesome. My son loves using the swimming pool during the summer, riding his scooter at the skate park and especially attending karate lessons. But if you’re looking for a gym membership I’d start at Planet Fitness or Fitness 19, this is not the gym for you.”

“This is a pretty cool place to bring your dog and let them stretch their legs. There is plenty of space for your dog to run around, interact with other dogs, and equipment to keep them entertained. There's also a separate smaller stall where you can place your dog as well :).”

“I was so relieved to find this place, literally. Nice plastic, soothing blue color. Urinal perfectly situated, I hit the target dead on! I blame Trump and the government shutdown for the lack of hand sanitizer, now it's really hitting us, the common folk, where it hurts.”

“Beautifully maintained cemetery in palo alto. Some of the plots are out in the open, others are in more shaded areas under large trees. Walking around the grounds you get a hint of peoples stories, their history and the history of the country. Its strangely beautiful to see so many generations together, like time progresses there more slowly and 10 generations interact instead of just 3.”

“As the sign says, this park is connected to Turman middle school, and the school has first dibs on it during school hours, but it is open to the public. Beautiful tennis courts and full court basketball. Soccer goals set up in huge field, could do with a bit of repair. Theres a lot of wide open space beside for all kinds of activities. Also, theres a pedestrian walkway leading out of it down a nice path so you don’t have to walk along the street. Its next to a cemetery.”

“It's so beautiful out here. There's picnic tables across from the visitor center. If you go on one of the various trails, get a map from the visitor center because the area is vast. You definitely need to stay in the trail and make sure you leave no garbage behind.”

“I used to come here and watch those world champions for kite flying and not just an ordinary kite but they're riding in a kite buggy that flies with them about 6 to 7 feet. It's a very exciting sight. Well, the guy got married and his wife won't let him do it anymore and the other got old and it's too dangerous for him to do it so he stopped. During summer time, it's a place I'd like to go to because of the breeze. It's always windy even there's no wind inland. It's a big area for flying kites but if there's a concert, they use the area as a parking lot.”
Address: Unnamed Road, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
“Great place to go fly a kite with no obstructions (unless you have a power kite and get pulled across the parking lot into the high voltage lines... don't do that). Parking is always easy and plentiful here. I have never had to pay a fee to get into the park. I would give this place 5 stars if it had a windsock somewhere.”
