“Great products and great service. These people know their stuff. I prefer to pay a fair price and get something that will last a long time. There is a reason professionals buy here and have their equipment repaired and serviced here.”

“Meek estate park Hayward CA.... Centers around the Meek Mansion/house. A part of Alameda County..... in the now City of Hayward but known as the "Cherry Land District" in the early 1900's. Know for its vast Cherry and Apricot orchards of that era. The Meek family were very prominent land owners in the Cherry Land area hence the park name. Parts of the park/house can be "rented" for Weddings and Gatherings. The "HARD" park district runs and maintains this park.. and that means a very clean and very well maintained park. Check out this Piece of Hayward CA History.”

“It's always great to go for a walk to Lake Chabot. Very calming environment and beautiful nature to look at. Love the improvement although I wish the man made lake will be cleaner.”

“Still not sure why you can review an island you're not supposed to be on. Looks great from the water! Don't go ashore.”

“Trashcans. Clean toilets. Fire pit. Abundant parking. A friend had a going away party and just set things up on the picnic tables and folks stopped by when they could. It was convenient, fun and the best part of camping in the backyard combined with the best parts of visiting the wilder corners of Chabot Park. Can't recommend it highly enough, just remember that fires may be forbidden during fire season. It is after all just a grove of eucalyptus trees.”

“Great local park. The park does charge admission to park in the lot or you can park outside and walk in.Nice place for a picnic or group gathering. Just remember the weekends and holidays the place gets packed. This is a great place for fishing from the shore or you can rent a boat. Paddle or canoe. The lake is mainly planted with trout but there are catfish, bluegills, and bass in the lake. The park does charge a small fee for fishing. It also a great place to go for a walk. There is a trail, about half of it paved, that goes around the lake.”

“Holy cow, this is in the middle of the mess called the Bay Area?! Very nice park that seems way outside of a busy area, but is right next to it. The roads to get to the campground are rather curvy, so it takes a while longer than expected to get down into town if you need to go, so try not to forget anything but the stress of being in the middle of the East Bay!”

“Cute little playground and park. The soccer fields offer a place to practice or play games. However, there is virtually no shade for the fields so wear your sunscreen.”

“Excellent, outdoor/survival hands-on learning experiences. Chickens, goats, horses, archery, pottery, tracking, cooking over a fire, learning about plants and trees, making soaps and salves from scratch. The staff are very knowledgeable in all things science/nature.”

“Beautiful example of indigenious plants, i believe it is still in its beginning stages. Cant wait to see what the volunteers do with the native plants moving forward. Hope to transition my own garden to indigenous plants. Mellow place, incredible spot to view our birds including bald eagles.”
