“The addition of grass made a big difference in this park. They also added shaded benches in several spots away from the main sitting area. There are two dog areas; one for large dogs and the other for small dogs. There are three sets of gates that can be opened to connect these areas. This park seems popular with large dogs, with 8 dogs playing while we were there. Lastly, they moved the drinking fountains into the play areas, which is a nice improvement as well.”

“This trail can be as easy or as hard as you make it. Clearly marked parking on Foothill and handicapped parking at the trailhead. The main trail is very wide and pretty safe as far as staying away from snakes as long as you stay centered. There are some smaller secondary trails to try as well. On a clear day the view is amazing! I’ve only done a short part of it but what I’ve done has been great.”

“Great park used to host baseball and soccer for i9 sports. Parking is small inside the school grounds so you usually have to parking in front of the houses of the surrounding neighborhood. The park is safe for kids and has two playground areas and a softball field.”

“I bring my dogs to the small dog park side of American Heroes. There is a group of people that go on a regular basis, and the atmosphere is friendly. The dogs all play very well together. The Saturday before Easter we always have an Easter egg hunt for the dogs. And the Saturday before Halloween we have a Halloween costume party for the dogs. Everyone is invited and it is free.”

“Nice track around the park to exercise on. Has spots to perform sit ups,push ups and balance exercises etc. The view around the track is amazing including city and mountain views. The park also has three different playgrounds for the kids. The park has two baseball fields and a basketball court. Plenty of grass and trees. Great picknick spots. They also host ayso soccer events that add to the energy of the park. Beautiful park in a great community.”
