“Adventure pass required. Service road is bumpy but made it in a passenger car. Super nasty pit toilets, no water, fire rings/grills, tables. Beautiful and quiet. Lots of fantastic hiking. Pets ok. No service.”

“A beautiful scenic hiking trail. It was my fifty year old mother's first time hiking, and she was completely fine. She had such a great time that we're going back only a week later. If you're a beginner, you should have no problem if you know how to walk. The trail isn't too steep like Griffith Park's trail. I do recommend though to wear shoes with a good grip because you might just skid on the gravel going downwards, if you're not paying attention to your foot movement. Also, my mother probably wouldn't have had as good of a time if she didn't have her hiking sticks. Id recommend older folks to get some.”

“Nice short hike you can take the family on... We had a few kids in tow, ages 10 & 16. This is California so you will come across a snake or two in warmer weather. We took the steep trail up and the flatter trail down. No shade or water but great views on a clear day.”

“Real Life Church meets here on Sunday at Sandburg Middle School. It is such a beautiful place to Worship in their Auditorium. Come join us for Sunday service at 9 every Sunday and you'll see. This spirit is alive in there and the people are fantastically welcoming. We are very blessed to be able to meet at this Middle School and Worship the Lord. God bless”

“A beautiful long stretch of serene beach property! There is plenty of room to pick your own little spot and set up and relax on the sand. Or you can take a long stroll down the boardwalk. You can start a bonfire and kick back and watch the sun go down. One thing though- Be prepared to pay to state park fee to enter! It’s totally worth it though!!! It’s a great place to gather with family. I highly recommend this state beach! It is very clean and has decent bathrooms!”

“I was there for a Little League baseball tournament. There were several baseball diamonds all equipped with lights for night baseball. There are two areas where food such as snacks, hotdogs, and hamburgers are sold. I assume all fields are available through reservation. Plenty of parking. I was impressed with the size of the complex. All areas were nicely maintained.”
