“Going to the duck pond is extremely relaxing. It's fun to look at all the different types of birds that come here. if you're going to feed them, please only feed them things like peas, corn, and bird seed, and not bread, as it is not good for them. I bring a small bag of corn and the ducks, coots, and some of the Canadian geese love it.”

“A nice place to visit with a large group and for this with kids. There is a playground near here. Otherwise it is a large field that is good for parties and relatively flat.”

“often like to take this trail on the way down from O'Melveny park because it makes it a loop trail, also you get to avoid people on the way down and you won't have to pretend to say hi to them.”

“Nice quiet and peaceful. If you wanna take a brisk walk this place is perfect for you. I recommend taking something to there because there is only a playground and some benches. Maybe a nice game of soccer or just simply throwing a ball around”

“I made a wrong turn—ended up being the right location though. Drove past the Home Depot and needed a turn around, missed it and had to drive up Signal Hill to attempt a turn-around. WOW! All I can say, really. The view is spectacular, the parks are clean and bright. The Statuary and Memorials are inspiring. Check it out!”

Address: 301N Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007, USA
“Great variety of trees and plants, with thoughtful arrangement that educates and delights. Paved walking paths are easy to navigate. Great for groups as well as individual families, including kids in strollers. Multiple parking lots along Baldwin are free. Gift shop has unusual items and books with helpful staff. Weekends and special events can be crowded. Peacock birds roam throughout so don't be surprised to have them come close as they have no fear of humans, but are mostly harmless.”

“It's a nice tiny little neighborhood park. I suggest stopping in to let the 5 North freeway traffic pass during Rush Hour. You can grab a little bite to eat from any of the local eateries and bring it here to the park to relax and enjoy yourself before you head up to Santa Clarita or off the 14 freeway. Just a suggestion.”

“Last year in November, the weekend before this campground was closed for the winter, we had a 2 night stay here, at site #8. We absolutely fell in love with it. We have a seven-year-old who enjoyed it so much as well. It was really cold at night (high 30s) and cold during the day (50s), but as long as you are prepared, it's lovely. Because it is only an hour and a half away from us, we decided to go back the last week of June for 4 nights. We looked around again and settled on site #9 this time. While we did enjoy our stay, the abundance of mosquitoes bothered us despite repellent spray and citronella candles. Definitely a better camping experience in the fall/winter season. Also, as a general information: the sites 7, 8, 9 and 10 are great as they are big and somewhat secluded with enough trees to provide shade. The last 3 sites (36, 37, 38) are supposed to be great too as they are secluded and shady as well.”

“lots of bears, you're guaranteed to meet one if you stay the night, like we did.It climbed the tree and got our food, circled our tent as we sat inside, and didn't appear at all frightened by the people around us, all at 4 in the morning. Be aware of the bear cave near the trail to. But lots of scenery. And the water's good if you boil it. Just be careful”
