“One of my favorite spots to camp but you do have to hike in your camping equipment about 8 Miles to this campsite and yes you can have a campfire if you get a fire permit from the ranger station and the fire is in the designated fire rings only unless told otherwise by the forestry when you're getting your fire permit they will ask you where you're camping and then they will tell you if it's permitted or not but I've never had a problem at this campsite”

“A Backcountry campground ~7 mi. up the Mt. Lowe road from The Cobb estate. Accessible by foot or bicycle. Lots of natural gravel on the ground, has old picnic benches, trees for shade, and next to a small seasonal stream bed.”

“Nice big dog park with a separate area for small dogs. It was wonderful, but I was told about coyote in the area so on the lookout at dusk. That's -small dog area,- not a place to bring an aggressive animal because you have to put a muzzle on it around other dogs in the park. The dog park rules for Long Beach specifically state No Aggressive Dogs in their dog parks within the City.”

“We took a little detour today with our small group of believers, and had an open air worship service at this little park. A little group from Church of the Foothills on Sierra Madre Villa, went alfresco and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors with the San Gabriel mountains as our backdrop. We sang guitar accompanied praise songs, shared communion, and were blessed by each others fellowship. There was a sobriety support group of folks a short ways over from us. The park was a blessing for both groups, who desired to improve the quality of life for themselves and their loved ones. Spiritual growth is availabe for anyone seeking it. With our Creator's help, all obstacles can be overcome, even mediocrity.”

“Started hiking with two little kids (7 & 4 years old) at 10:45 am. First 0.5mile down hill was easy. Next 1 mile uphill under shadow was also nice. Arrived at the falls at 11:35. Since we were waiting for rain, there were good amount of water at the falls. had lunch and back to parking at 01:00PM. It was kids friendly hiking. Though a bit crowded and had to waitfor parking spot, overall 4stars hiking.”

“The park it self is great. What makes it even better is the staff, and the coaches for this park. I have had my boys join every sport. There is one coach i can say goes that extra mile for his kids as he calls them. His name is ART. Before practice art makes sure homework is done. He says thats the most important thing is school and grades need to be good. If grades are low art helps and makes sure the kids understand their homework. Art speaks to them like a true friend. He helps these boys with their self-esteem, Just with everything he is a great father, brother, uncle, mentor, man, overall he is a great friend. Thank you Art for being a true friend to my boys in their time of need.”

“I like taking my kids here. They always have fun playing at the basketball court and on the playground set. They have plenty of tables to grab some lunch or an early dinner and enjoy it with the family. I lived in Santa Fe Springs for 4 years and went to the park regularly, never had an issue or problems, but then again if you don't bring any drama you're less likely to deal with it.”

“Beautiful place. Nice for a short trek through the woods. So many little black squirrels. Very easy hike. 3 miles. I'm an intermediate to intermediate plus hiker. I stopped a few times along the way to take pictures and watching the nature. Took around 35 mins to and from the beginning of the trail. Can be up to and hour depending on you. Great for everyone! Kids, dogs, people of all ages. Go early, before 8 AM for a better experience. Less people at that time.”
