That's -small dog area,- not a place to bring an aggressive animal because you have to put a muzzle on it around other dogs in the park. The dog park rules for Long Beach specifically state No Aggressive Dogs in their dog parks within the City.”

“We took a little detour today with our small group of believers, and had an open air worship service at this little park. A little group from Church of the Foothills on Sierra Madre Villa, went alfresco and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors with the San Gabriel mountains as our backdrop. We sang guitar accompanied praise songs, shared communion, and were blessed by each others fellowship. There was a sobriety support group of folks a short ways over from us. The park was a blessing for both groups, who desired to improve the quality of life for themselves and their loved ones. Spiritual growth is availabe for anyone seeking it. With our Creator's help, all obstacles can be overcome, even mediocrity.”

“The park it self is great. What makes it even better is the staff, and the coaches for this park. I have had my boys join every sport. There is one coach i can say goes that extra mile for his kids as he calls them. His name is ART. Before practice art makes sure homework is done. He says thats the most important thing is school and grades need to be good. If grades are low art helps and makes sure the kids understand their homework. Art speaks to them like a true friend. He helps these boys with their self-esteem, Just with everything he is a great father, brother, uncle, mentor, man, overall he is a great friend. Thank you Art for being a true friend to my boys in their time of need.”

I stopped a few times along the way to take pictures and watching the nature. Took around 35 mins to and from the beginning of the trail. Can be up to and hour depending on you. Great for everyone! Kids, dogs, people of all ages. Go early, before 8 AM for a better experience. Less people at that time.”
