“I go weekly to this park, more of a spots complex but still a park, for my sport. It's always loud (Saturday specifically although you would still find some people there other days) except early in the morning or sometimes past 2-3 pm. There's a sitting area and many tents that sell food, drinks, equipment, electronics, etc. I've been with the park when most of it was nothing but dirt 'till now where half the park is synthetic and still under construction. If you go to the park during a Saturday; get ready to hear tons of parents screaming/cheering, kids roaming, and (depending on your definition of the word) fun.”

“Beautiful camp ground about a mile south of newcombs ranch. On site bathrooms and water. Fires are allowed in fire pits. Winds got a little out of hand when we were up there, but outside of that. Awesome camp ground. Only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because the ground is full of solid rocks just under the surface dirt. Making it hard to drive spikes for a tent.”

“This is by far the best trail for bush hiding. It's great fun to see people's reactions. All you need is a little dust to rub on yourself and practice the glaze-eyed stare. Just be sure to do your performances a way down the trail, by the stream. That will ensure the pesky ranger won't disturb you, as they only venture a few hundred yards down the trail.”

“Nice play area for kids with padded ground...not sand or sticks. Outdoor tennis, basket ball, volleyball courts, baseball and soccer fields. Rec center as well as indoor gym with more basketball and soccer features. They also have tons of events and provide athletic and eductional programs...for free or low cost. Also has parking and restrooms. There is always a park employee on site. Some shaded picnic areas as well.”

“It was an amazing experience. I had so much fun. I didn't think I still had it in me. As soon as I put my foot on my board I felt like I did in high school. I did 50/50 grinds and nose grinds like nothing. I miss it already. Ill be here on a regular basis that's for sure. ????⛄”

“Life has been a little difficult for me and lately I’ve been trying to find places to help me relax. I found that coming to this peaceful little park has helped me on some of my toughest days. It’s quite lovely. The scenery is well known and many people even come to have their wedding photos taken here. There’s plenty of trees that provide shade so i typically bring a blanket and lay under a tree to get some fresh air.”

“This dog park is a nice size for my little guy to run around and get all his energy out. It’s all dirt, so expect your pup to get a little dusty. Also, there isn’t much shade, but there are a few trees they’ve recently planted, which will help in the years to come. Typically the dog owners here are responsible, but I have seen a few dogs be a little aggressive. That being said, always keep an eye on your dog and be aware of other dogs.”

“I bought the rooting hormone about 5 weeks ago, it works like a charm! The fact that it is all organic ingredients and there is no chemicals in it is the best part of it! I am very pleased with the product!”

“I really liked this trail. Yeah, there are some dog droppings but you just deal with them accordingly. I liked the Puma trail because it has plenty of shade. Coyote trail is a good leg warmer.”

“There is no cellphone coverage in this area so you need to be prepared in terms of finding the location (working with offline GPS) and also keep in mind you can not call or text anymore. It's a beautiful, peaceful, clean and not crowded picnic area located near the campground and the visitors center, there is a convenient and free parking lot. Near each picnic area water and fire pit. Takes almost one hour drive from Sunland-Tujunga.”

“An Official Hiking Review: First Class hiking destination. We rate this location medium, but there are certainly trails for less avid hikers. Plenty of parking and areas to explore. Fun for the whole family. Fantastic find for any in So Cal!”
