“This is going to be one of my favorite trails. A lot of shade and beautiful fall colors at this time of year. Popular spot but we had no trouble with parking. Most people seem to be able to park at the closest lot. Be sure to have the adventure pass before driving up (and down).”

“My favorite hike. Very little traffic. Peaceful. Challenging but not too difficult. The views are amazing. I like to go on a clear day after it rains and sit on the bench at the top, to think about nothing and everything. This hike is such a stress reliever for me.”

“Trailhead is easy to find with plenty of parking in the adjacent lots. If there isn't parking there, you can try the lots closer to the Greek Theatre! Also parking is Free! The trail itself isn't too challenging but was a nice walk to the top with alternate routes that connect to other trails. The route is pretty wide so plenty of space for big groups. It also doesn't get too crowded so very nice for an early morning. I'm sure it may get somewhat busier as the day gets later. Beautiful place that was very green after the recent rains! You can go to the top and take a look at the downtown LA skyline or head over on to the other side to venture towards the Hollywood sign. I would definitely go again soon!”

“This is the perfect Sunday morning hike in the valley! I've been here many times and went today with a friend to get a fresh start to our day. This is a great beginner biker and is one that can be done by folks of all ages. The hardest part is the beginning, it starts out with steep incline that lasts for about 15 minutes, it's just enough to give you a nice burn then the rest is pretty much smooth sailing. The park is clean. You will see people running and biking but I've always walked the hike and can get in a nice workout that way. There are several outlooks along the way, dog water stations and even benches if you'd like to get in some morning mediation with a nice view. The hike let's out in the residential area behind Fryman canyon, just keep left and you'll eventually make it out to Laurel Canyon where you can work your way back to the parking lot. You can finish the hike in about an hour. This morning was a little busy but I was still able to find street parking. I highly recommend wearing a hat to protect your head since there isn't much shade on this hike. I just love the peaceful hikes here, I'll definitely be back.”
