“If you go on a working day, there will be fewer people and you can have the peace and quiet all to yourself. Once in a while, meet a few people who also go climbing, say hello. This trail is relatively short, with many streams and shade trees, which is suitable for Spring / summer season It takes about 2.5 hours to walk the whole way and back.”

“This is one of 3 SVRA's that are reasonably accessible from the Bay Area with a variety of terrains, difficulties and opportunities to have some serious fun along the way. This places is definitely your more drier/dustier type conditions, so the best time to go is after there's been a little rain which dampens the dusty and turns the dirt into perfect grip. Other than that the main benefit of this place is the huge hill climbs and plenty of off-trail riding you can do. Great place to bring the kids with lots of open areas to ride and decent camping.”
