“Great family time. Food truck, drinks, and snacks for sale. $10 and $14 admission $3 skate rental. It's nicely decorated for Christmas. Kids had lots of fun skating while I enjoyed the hot chocolate. They have hand sanitizer and restrooms. They take COVID precautions seriously. Enough tables for family to hang and seats. Even heated lamps. Sessions are an hour and half. Staff is really nice.”

“Great, well-maintained trail. I took my mountain bike there for the first time and missed the sign at the Poppy Ave entrance that the trail was one-way. But the neighborhood Karen helped me realize my mistake and even took my picture to make sure I didn’t make that mistake again. If you’re a safe cyclist who can moderate speed and follow the one way, it’s a wonderful trail. Just don’t expect the local hikers to welcome you.”

It's never as crowded as the other launch site in Leo Ryan park, the dock area is large and there are parking spots a few feet from the water edge - so one need not lug the boat too far. The water is calm, no need to worry about tide or waves.”
