“Great little neighborhood park that has small soccer goals, although I'm not sure how long they will be there as one was broken in pieces and the other is rusting to the point it will probably be too broken to play with soon. There are slides and swings as well.”

“Never put this place on the end of any itinerary, otherwise you might miss and have to come visiting again, like I had to do. This is actually a very old ranch, or farmhouse, and the patriarch or the family donated to California state park department. Liked the dried trails by which a lot flowers would make your way more beautiful. Also, there i s another small field just by the freeway on the way to this place where you will always meet some deers, so drive carefully. People told me you can spend an entire day hiking, or strolling here, but I am yet to do the same.”

“The park here is nice and relaxing. I mainly come here for tennis. The courts are usually first come first serve and once you are on the court you don't have people trying to kick you off, because "your time is up." Only downside is that sometimes you could be waiting upwards of an 1 1/2 hours just to get on a court when it's really busy.”

“This park is one of my favorites, plenty of parking, benches, shade, and room for whatever activities you can think of. There are two separate play structures, one for smaller children/toddlers with a thick rubber ground cover and a shade structure with picnic tables. The other play structure is more for elementary to middle school aged children with a decent sized area and connected structures for the kids to play on however it does accommodate toddlers with the normal toddler swings as well as 4 normal sized swings with wood chips as a ground barrier There is a large open grassy area wrapped by a concrete sidewalk with plenty of trees to provide shade in one area and benches to stop and rest or just enjoy the open feeling. the pathway passes both play structures great for doing laps with bikes, dogs, jogging, circuits, etc... Overall a great place to take the kids, create a workout routine, or just relax and read a book.”

“Follow the stone blocks with arrows pointing to the direction in which the trail continues for a very cool 2.7 mile loop. You go through open fields and dense wooded zones with some brief uphill/downhill sections. You can also increase your hike's difficulty by choosing to go on the steeper sections that eventually loop back to the main trail. There's also a ton of plaques on the benches and vista points with inspirational quotes that evoke the spirit of walking on this storied path. Went on a Saturday afternoon with my dog and there were barely any people around. A very peaceful and calm hike, would highly recommend it!”

“This park is beautiful and in great condition. There is an outdoor set of marimbas and drs for kids to make music and it actually sounds really beautiful. In March, there is a field of flowers on the east side that is great for taking photos of your kids!”

“It's a nice big park with a nice walking path around it. It also has a couple gazebos with lunch tables under them so there are places to have a picnic. On the weekend it is always busy but we still found a table to eat at on a buys Sunday. There is also a nice small playground for kids to play on. I would be careful around the turtles though because they are snapping turtles and have been know to bite people on occasion.”

“Gracious and friendly folks. You will not regret a visit. We spent a few days in early October 2016 when the breeze was a bit chilly. However the trees and structures around the pool blocked the wind thus providing a glorious sun bathing time. The friendly people made Laguna Del Sol a place we will unquestionably return to soon. We were welcomed into their homes like longtime friends. Hot tube and poolside conversations made us feel at home. Early October brought out the flies- they were everywhere- which was our only complaint but not a fault of the resort. Our park model that was clean, well-stocked for cooking and close to all the resort amenities. We had most meals in the restaurant. The food was delicious with portions large enough to share. The restaurant features a full bar. The huge property has a nature trail to the Cosumnes River which wasn’t flowing at the time but had many pools of water to splash around in. A highlight was the Saturday night dance where the music pulled you to the dance floor. It was a sad moment watching Laguna Del Sol fade in the rear-view mirror.”

“Came here for disc golf. It's a fun, small, 9 hole course. A good mix of short and long holes. It looks to be brand new and the trees are very small. I think this course will become more fun and challenging once the trees grow out. Whoever scored this course is a sadist because there are some 500+ ft holes that are scored as a par 2. Save your sanity and use the scoring on uDisc. It's much more fair.”
