“The Ritz is a clean and well-maintained apartment building. You'll find gated garage parking (with several tandems if you need two spaces), a nice little pool and hot tub area, a workout room, central air, and balconies on most units. The building is not as new as some of the more luxurious apartments in the area, but it's far from run down. Security is good; there are several cameras in the garage and at the door, and a guard is present every night. I've never felt unsafe here. The pool actually rests underneath one of the apartments, so it's usually chilly from being in the shade. The hot tub has just been nicely redone. The workout room is small but usable and includes bike, elliptical, treadmill, and weight machine. Overall, the facilities are great. Carlo, the managing company, runs professionally. I've found them to be courteous and accommodating, and they are prompt with repairs. In my time at this particular building, the turnover rate for managers has been high. It hasn't affected the quality of operation though, and I think it has just been an unusual set of circumstances. Regardless of who it was, the manager has been friendly and helpful. Overall, I find the Ritz to be a good value for the area.”

“We have been living at the Waterstone Apartments for over a year now, and have really come to understand how lucky we were to find them. This is 100% due to the exemplary quality of service we have received from Julie, the property manager. One example that comes to mind was about 2 months ago, our AC condensation tray overflowed into our closet and dripped all over some of our nicest clothes. Once Waldo fixed the issue, Julie gave My wife and I a credit on next months rent for the dry-cleaning. We didn't have to ask her for any kind of reimbursement, she just did it. If there's something conventional to LA it's the "What's in it for me?" mindstate. Instead, Julie said "What can I do for them in reparations?" Waldo is the head of Maintenance, also very genuine, as well as skilled in everything repair oriented. I had a question one day on a specific handy man task and he took an hour after his work day was over, to show me how to complete the job. Julie, Waldo, and the rest of their team are the epitome of excellence and always treat us with professionalism and sincerity. The apartments are nice too, check 'em out! Btw these negative 1 star reviews are irrelevant. They date back to years ago, so take them with a grain of salt. Living here in the present adds weight to anybody's reviews and opinions.”
