They are the first introduction to the school setting and the fact that they are teaching children to love school is huge for me. Ms. Roshaun has been amazing for the transition to a preschool setting for both my boys. The notes you get daily show what they did during the day and how their day went. The teachers all get to know your child and can greet them by names. “My daughter loves her aftercare at Smarty Pants. She describes it as a fun place where you do art and science. Next year, when she moves to first grade, homework will be included in the curriculum. When Hermosa Beach changed to half day kinder and in late June removed the aftercare, Smarty Pants was such a blessing. The kids are learning through creative play-time and projects. Katherine supervises them very closely and places a big emphasis on social skills...parents can be assured that their child will never experience bullying in this setting. I will be using Smarty Pants for the next several years.”

“This school is very special♡. Mr. Espinosa and Ms. Garcia are all my stepdaughter talked about. It's not only a school they really boost their self esteem and help achieve the goals they set for themselves. The guidance they give is beyond what is expected. I thank the staff from the bottom of my heart for helping Lizzy believe in herself after going through such a tough time her freshman year. Just left her graduation for the Class of 2019. The theme was Love. To hear the Principal end the graduation with say " I love you kids " was very touching for everyone. Great school!”
