“I've been going to the 5 Star School for Music for 2 years now and studying under Kevin. I can't say enough good things about my experience. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. As a 40 something adult learning guitar after not playing since I was a teenager I was nervous if I would be able to learn an instrument. Kevin has been very patient and encouraging. Every lesson is fun and I feel I'm constantly improving. They have their own curriculum which I found so much better than the boring old book I was forced to use as a teen. Kevin also is a fantastic musician in his own right and knows how to play almost anything I can think of to ask to learn. If you're interested in learning an instrument and have fun while doing it this is the place to go.”

They are very attentions, extremely accommodating to the child's needs ( in very sensitive days too), patient and warm attention. My girls if was an option they were going there in the weekend and holidays! They are also come home happy and/or they don't want to leave the daycare in the evenings. "Teremok" is providing tasty fresh home made meals each day! In "Teremok" there is a wide range of activities as: crafting, drawing, music lessons with shows, cooking classes, English&Russian classes and Santa Claus in the Christmas. We are very lucky that we found such an amazing place with wonderful team that we can trust. I highly recommended "Teremok" as a perfect daycare that we attend previously. “It is such a joy to be a student at Astoria Ballroom. Every time I enter the ballroom I am refreshed by the inspiring atmosphere. The facility is always impeccably clean and the environment is respectfully focused on dance. It is easy to practice and keep my thought disciplined on working on the elements of the dance. The coaches, Alex and Midori, constantly refine their teaching techniques to accommodate each students learning style. When I don't "get it" they rephrase the idea until I do "get it". “My 3 year old son absolutely LOVES this school as do I. They are very friendly and loving to the children. I not once had any issues. I am a struggling single mother and they were very accommodating to me and my son. I had my son in two other daycare's and he never liked them and would cry when he was there. At Lad N Lassie there was not a single complaint from him and he would ask everyday to go back to school as he called it. They are very reasonable in price, the cheapest I've come across. i also trust this school/daycare very much. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this lovely place to anyone and everyone who are looking for daycare!”

“I ordered the quarter chicken combo and rib appetizer. The chicken is great and I absolutely love it with the aji verde they serve. And the Peruvian beans, yum!! The ribs were okay. Very dry. They also seemed to increase prices recently, I’m guessing to catch up with the loss from the pandemic. Which is fine, but $14 for dry pork ribs is not it. The used to be $4 less. At that rate I’d rather buy a rack from the store for the same price.”
