“Besides the fights and sometimes icky food. The school is pretty descent when it comes to academics. Ridgeview offers courses many high school in Bakersfield don't have. The teachers are amazing and caring, very supportive, and funny at times. The snack bar is a bit pricey, and sometimes doesn't have that good of a selection. The sports drinks they sell taste horrible to me and some people I know.”

“I used to come here between 2006-2010. The staff were really nice with everyone. I didn't seem to see any problems between freshmen through senior year. Made the best time of it. I do know there's new programs that weren't around when I was there along with a pool and the freshmen are now separated from the others from what someone told me. Overall just do easy classwork and homework and its an easy grade. I remember ditching a lot and as long as I did any work I missed it was a pretty simple easy thing. Overall its a nice school. Much better now.”

“Mobile Learning Center's tutors are flexible, knowledgeable, and patient. They care about student success and it shows! The tutor helps with math, but also tracks overall progress and tutors in other subjects when needed. They even help organize backpacks and schedules. In 2 months, I have already seen growth in grades, confidence, and attitude towards math. We do weekly home outside sessions. The tutor always has a mask and a sneeze guard. MLC has taken so much stress out of this distance learning process I'm so thankful I found them.”
