“This is "The School"! As you walk into the building you immediately feel both admiration and pride. Admiration- for the wonderful job done by the owner and stuff in terms of providing the perfect school environment. Carol, the administrative assistant, is bringing even more charm to the school with her loving personality and wonderful help. At this school every teacher/assistant teacher is busy helping and encouraging students- you get the feeling of it as you walk through the hallway where all classrooms are. There are no sad faces of teachers who seem to hate their jobs. Wonderful Spanish teacher who, although teaches in both PMRB and PMPV, knows the names of all students and treats them with so much love and dedication. The school also offers dance and gymnastics classes- both wonderful!”

“Our two sons started with RSM Mountain View one year ago and their math skills have seen significant improvement. The principal, Ms. TuyetNhi did evaluation at the very beginning and her judgement of their strengths/weakness were right on the point. My younger son studied in Ms. TuyetNhi's grade-5 honor class last year and he was admitted into a well-known academic challenging private school for middle school this fall. Ms. TuyetNhi knows PAUSD and some private schools like Challenger math path from elementary to high school inside out. During Covid-19 time, she did multiple zoom meetings for parents to provide guidance on the planning for RSM MV students in different grades/levels. She knows RSM MV school students by name and when parents asked questions, many times she will reply by asking what's the child's name so she can give personalized suggestions. My older son started summer school late and she spent two and half hours in the weekend doing one-on-one session helping him catch up so he can be ready for the next class. I don't know how she can manage the whole school with such personalized attention but for sure she not only is an admirable math teacher but also holds high standards on business operation and acdemic excellency. The school office response is quick and the online homework system provides students challenging questions with the real-time finishing score. This is the school with a great leader and solid teaching mgmt system well worth you and your children's time and investment.”

“The best mandarin immersion preschool! We were so lucky to have New Journey as the first school for our daughter's enlightenment education. Michelle really does a great job to manage the New Journey. We have left there for months now, but my daughter is still missing her teachers and classmates there. After experiencing other preschools, we can now conclude the biggest advantages of New Journey: • Clean and neat: my daughter was rarely sick during the time there.. Michelle cleans the toys and floor everyday. • Diverse curriculum: besides learning numbers, Chinese characters, poems, songs, math, arts, they also have various science and fun activities, such as observing bugs, making and playing snow, making cookies and field trips etc. In addition, there are also kids Yoga and basketball classes! • Yummy food: we were never worried about my daughter’s meals at school. All the foods are made with organic ingredients. Occasionally, when she really didn’t like the food, Michelle even made something else for her. • The DailyConnect app: an app to interact with parents, which is really really convenient and helpful. You would know what your kid is doing when teachers upload the photos to the app; you will get a notice from the teacher when the diapers or wipes are running out; you will know whether they had lunch or not, how much they ate etc. Of course, they also have plenty of toys, outdoor playground, friendly and patient teachers, potty training and more that a preschool is supposed to have. But if you are looking for something beyond those for your kids, New Journey is the place you must check out. “I actually had a good experience here...though not every professor was equally prepared which often threw off their presentation, I would offer that if you do your part (read & complete assignments) you will take away what you need to be successful in your field and at your craft. My biggest complaint here was the group requirements as it is often difficult to make other people step up when they are accustomed to submitting sub par assignments. The issue here is that others must carry them or the grade for the group is effected. I believe the reasoning is so that students learn how to work with other people making you more adjusted to the workforce. However, the type of work asked of you in class and in the work field is usually quite different. Though i understand the reasoning it might not be appropriate for students with a different learning style. It has been my experience that every institution of learning has their own dogma and/or belief(s) behind the way they do business or reasoning for structuring things a certain way, this is why you should do your research before entering any school to make sure it is a fit. Nevertheless, the bottom line is (in most situations) that you get out what you put in.”

“Our experience here was mixed as our time in Albuquerque was. I would say this is one of the best daycares in ABQ (hence 4 stars), but wasn't great compared to other metro areas we have lived in which are more family friendly where it would be 2-3 stars (better schools, daycares, etc you don't get in ABQ). The big problem here, huge turnover and young, unexperienced staff. Our child was enrolled for 2.5 years starting at birth, over which all staff turned over roughly twice (all classes). Only one staff from when we started was still there when we left (the entire center). We never had a 6 month stretch in a class with the same teachers. This led to lots of disruption in learning and discipline. However, our child was always safe there, they had good facilities, and they did teach the children good material. Our new daycare in our new metro area has significantly more experienced teachers, our child is doing very well in learning, and is excited to go every day, but again you are stuck with what you can get in ABQ if you are stuck there.”
