“My son started drum lessons over a year ago now at Staump with Tim! I switched from another local place and I’m so glad we did! My observations are that Tim has a ton of experience, he has passion for what he does and he gives individualized lessons, where he caters to the child’s needs. My son started with a group lesson and then on his own. I’m so grateful for my son’s overall experience at Staump. My son unfortunately doesn’t do a lot of practicing on his own at home, so when I sit in on his lessons it just amazes me how much he has learned just coming to lessons once a week. But from the beginning to now, he has shown more confidence in drumming, way more coordination, rhythm and beat! He can play a few songs, and is working up courage to play more in front of camera! That’s another great opportunity is to have your work be professionally recorded. What a gift. Tim will go as fast and as slow as the child is willing to go and be supportive along the way. Tim also gives him tips and tricks to help him get past any frustration. He has taught my son that having fun drumming is important and not to stress about the small stuff. At the same time, he motivates my son to have breakthroughs, which is wonderful to witness. I can’t wait to see what he does next!”

“Wow! This preschool is awesome! Miss Sara is an excellent preschool teacher! She is wonderful, caring & loving, and of course she is very patient as well. So is Miss Shelley! This is definitely a place that you will feel comfortable leaving your children. My husband and I drive on Mon, Wed, & Fri. to this preschool for our son to attend for the ~3 hours for the scheduled class and we come all the way from Fair Oaks! I know that we must drive past a couple dozen other preschools on the way! Lol!! The structure at L'Academy truly prepares children for the transition to grade school.
