“Rarely do I ever give five stars in a review. But Poway animal hospital deserves it. Sherlock here was feeling very poorly, and I did not like his current veterinarian. A neighbor had recommended Poway animal hospital to me a couple months prior. I gave them a call and explained what was going on with Sherlock. They got him in on the same day and before I knew it, he was going in for an ultrasound the very next day. He ended up having to go for surgery to save his life. The staff here treated me with the utmost compassion, professionalism and patience. They listened and answered all the questions I had and even gave me regular updates on Sherlock's progress on the day of surgery and for a couple of days afterward. They even sent me photos. They saved my sweet Sherlock's life. That is a debt that I cannot repay. I highly recommend this veterinary office to anyone who's looking for a veterinarian!”

“One of my two dogs, an 11 year old Sheppard mix, has been showing signs of tooth issues. I started shopping for somewhere local and found this animal hospital. While I continued shopping, in a matter of days, the dog got sick and stopped eating. Now it feels like an emergency. All Bay got us in the next day. The dog is started on antibiotics while we wait for an appointment to do the teeth work. The doctor we saw as well as the staff all have a caring gentleness about them that both the dog and I felt good about. So far I'm very happy with this animal hospital. The photo is from about 2 weeks ago when she was just happily enjoying the sun.”

“I recommend that you and your pet go to Arbor Pet Clinic. All the staff there were always caring and compassionate towards the needs of our bird and our dog until her last day with us. Everyone there is very professional and courteous, but what really sets them apart is their attention to detail and dedication to the vet-pet owner relationship , even when they get very busy. For instance, Dr. Turner would call us himself when he could, to check on our bird and to explain our dog's diagnosis personally. Other places we've been to, we've only talked to the doctors during visits. Not only that, Dr. Turner is one of the few veterinarians around here with knowledge and prowess to treat birds. Jessica, up front, has always been amicable with us whenever we'd come in for an appointment as well and helpful with any questions we had. Overall, I recommend that you choose Arbor Pet clinic for your pet if you want a place that gives the care that your pet deserves while within very reasonable prices.”

“The best ever! My dog was limping, and I went to Belmont Veternian. The vet there said my dog had a should problem, and they wanted to charge me $1,200 for an x-ray. I decided to get a second opinion at Pleasanton Animal Hospital. The vet there told me my dog had a foxtail in his paw, which was the correct diagnosis. Within two days, my dog was back to normal. Love this place!”

“I want to give this place five stars because I hate to be the person the complains about price. That being my only issue, this place was the only place open on new years eve 12.31.21 that had any availability to see my cat. Cat injured his leg and it was getting worse to a point where he couldn't even rest and was acting scary. Wouldn't put any weight on it at all and I thought it was broken. I called all the sage hospitals from the peninsula to San Jose, all the medvets, archvet, any animal hospital I could find on Yelp or Google maps while my cat was crying for hours. Every place said they just couldn't take him, or had a 4-5 hour wait (And when I called back, they said the updated status with no more availability) South Bay animal hospital right away said they could see my cat if I brought him. I brought my cat over right away and explained to them a bit of his symptoms. I ended up sitting in the car for over an hour trying to get approval for a loan because the diagnosis for his leg injury was over $3,000, And I don't think he would be seen without upfront payment. Thank God it turned out not to be a broken leg or worse. My cat had gotten attacked and his leg was getting infected so they drained and cleaned the wound. Overall, so grateful that this place was the only one that could see my cat, but I'm wondering if it's because of their prices. Not sure if that is normal, but if it is I probably will try to call all the other vets before I come back here. Reliable but expensive.”

“I was so blessed to come across this clinic. My beloved Tigre was very ill and his previous vet felt very detached from him. Idk if that makes sense. However we took a chance and brought him here. They gave me the unfortunate news that he was in the last stages of kidney failure. That's not something anyone wants to hear. Tigre was the love of my life. EVERYONE at the cat care clinic was nothing but kind and understanding. They walked me through how to make his last days the most comfortable. And when it was time to say goodbye to him they showed nothing but compassion and kindness to my husband and I. Even up to the day when we picked up his ashes. They have always been so gracious. It's hard to even talk about it because we miss Tigre so much...but their kind deeds need to be acknowledged. Thank you all so much. It goes without saying that we highly recommend this clinic. The staff is amazing, understanding, compassionate and kind.”

“I have lived here for 20 years and I’ve tried various vets and have not been happy with any. I love my vet in Burbank but it is a long drive especially when something is wrong. When my dog ate some onions, I knew it had to be addressed right away, I went to this place and I did not know they were under new management since the last time I had gone there, so I was happily surprised with the service I received. They were amazing to my dog and they took great care of him. Less than two weeks later he had a major issue and it was after hours so I had to go to the urgent care, they said he had pancreatitis and sent him home with me. I had a dog with pancreatitis before and she was in the hospital for a week so I was nervous about him just coming home, he didn’t look good so I brought him here the next morning. They felt maybe he had an obstruction that may be causing the pancreatitis. They put him on an IV and did some tests. They went out of their way and helped me a by calling around finding a hospital that would be open to care for him and had an ultrasound to check for an instruction. The hospital they sent me to couldn’t be sure and wanted to do exploratory surgery and I ended up doing it. They found a plastic bag going through his intestines which I’m sure he got when he got into the trash and ate the onions. I am beyond grateful to them because they are the ones who felt it wasn’t just pancreatitis . If I just would’ve kept my dog at home he would’ve died so I owe them everything they are amazing”

“Fast, friendly, and cheap! Very happy I came here. I came to this place right after our male pet rabbit got hurt (he got loose, ran off, and had a bad fall at some point in the night). I called *at least* 6 different animal hospitals in the area to ask if I could bring him in, but none would take him due to the fact that they did not treat rabbits ('cats and dogs only' is what I kept hearing over the phone). I finally decided to give this place a try after I heard that they did treat rabbits, as well as cats and dogs, and other pet animals. When I called, someone picked up right away and offered to see me that same day and set up an appointment for that afternoon. I was able to bring our rabbit in just a few hours after I called. I spoke directly to the doctor and he did a complete exam + x-ray within a short amount of time (I'd say I was there no more than an hour or so, max, as I got in at 1 pm and was out by 2 pm-ish). He shared his insight, explained how he examined him, and even gave us a copy of all our paperwork and x-rays as well. He was also very up-front about the costs of everything and had every part of the service printed in writing, so I knew what the total cost would be before I agreed to it. I also saw other customers coming in and out with their pets (they were busy!) and the doctor and staff seemed very friendly and sweet. I was very happy I came here and I will come back! If you're looking for a tiny little mom-and-pop-style vet to take your pet to in LA, then I'd say this is your place.”

“The care they give your pet is great but telling you to "Just go ahead and give us a call when you are here and we will come out to get your pet" is completely ridiculous. I am positive I called 64 times (all busy signals) I became irritated and impatient and went to door and a girl rushed out to me like I was a crazy person. Before I did my sad walk back to car another girl came and said she had called 114 times. My cat was attacked by a opossum . when we were finally seen vitals taken. Then vet came in went over the cost and she said someone would be right back to get my cat Franklin with my bill too. 2 and 1/2 hours later the vet techs Was back like it was only a few minutes. I was like what the actual hell took this long. No real answer was my answer. .my poor cat was in pain but at least he was finally getting help. 1000$ worth. He should of not been made to wait for a bill that I had already signed and agreed to.i have no idea why we were left in room #3 for 2and half hours. Overall we had an emergency and no other choice.busy overwhelmed or understaffed but maybe a word or two when you leave people in rooms for too long, let them know some thing like they weren't forgotten. Etc. I”
