“This was a doozie! We did Fern trail and it's not a hike for 1st timers. This was my first time there and I brought my dog, but would recommend not to. I follow leash protocol, but the people who don't made it dangerous for others as the trail is narrow in some areas and very steep. There are quite a few parts where you'll need your hands free to scramble, especially at the top. Overall, it felt like the terrain and difficulty of a 14er without the altitude.”

“We had the good fortune of finding Meadowlark for my daughter when we moved to Boulder. I have seen a shy, tenuous child transform under the watchful eye of Lauren, Alex, and Erin. They have been such beautiful mentors to our daughter and also to my husband and I as parents. My daughter is acquiring mad Spanish, sign language, and alphabet skills while also becoming a better human. I think the latter is probably the most significant statement; they are concerned not only with preparing your child for Kindergarten, they are actively molding and creating beautiful humans. I would recommend the school to anyone needing a place to bring their child.”
